i was expecting some money to be sent to me by express mail from someone and when it came the postal worker tried to get me to sign for the package i showed him the waived signature area and then he said ok you dont need to sign and he left it. i am not opening it and just waiting for somethin else maybe to happen. what do you guys think about this. i am probably being just super cautious. help IP: Logged |

You're not being too cautiuos bro. As soon as you stop being suspicious when dealing with gear, you're busted. I'd leave it alone and keep it near your door for a couple of weeks. If the Feds want you, they'll be by your door before two weeks is up. Does it have your name on it? Is it over the legal amount to receive over the border? If your name isn't on it and someone comes knocking just say you don't know what it is or who it's for, but you were meaning to return it. Just keep your eyes open and give it the two weeks. I think he probably just made a mistake. If you want to be super-safe, just get anything illegal out of your house and go put the money somewhere safe or even in the bank if it's over $500 or so. IP: Logged |

Bro, I had a similar experance last week. I had ordered some fina pellets and a notice came telling me to go to the post office and sign for them. I am usally not too pariniod, but this had me spooked. So the next day the mailman is waiting for me when I stopped by to check my mail. Anyway it was expressmail and required a signature, so I signed and that was the end of it. I hope that makes you feel a little more at ease. IP: Logged |

I got a notice in the mail that I had a package to pickup. When I got to the post office the employee said "you don't need to sign this. Oh well since you're here go ahead and sign" it was probably careless on my part but I did sign. I left the package by the front door for about 3 days until I couldnt wait any longer and opened it up and found my gear! That was about a month ago and no problems. IP: Logged |

Leave it by the front door with RETURN TO SENDER printed on the front. Give it a week. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Sounds very familiar to me. My gear finally arrived and I get one of those yellow notices in the mail that a registered mail package has arrived and I need to pick it up.Furthermore, its marked that a signature is required. Still debating whether or not to go to the post office or ask them to redeliver. IP: Logged |

I sent some money a couple of days ago(Global Priority) and I had to sign this confirmation deal with what was in the card and all that stuff. Why do you have to do that with GPM but not regular Priority Mail??? IP: Logged |

domestic priority offers for an extra charge a tracking number. its always dropped off you never have to sign and you cna track over the interent, if asked to sign for prioity your probably being set up. the post office also offers next dat which you have to sign for but priority is 2-3 days delivery.
