Hi All,
Ok Im a little perplexed by this Loss of gains that seems to be a problem with riod users...!

Im on my first cycle now and hope to put on 10 to 18lbs and would like to keep it surely if i Keep goin down the gym and eating the same i will keep what i have gained without the need for another cycle...?

Is this just a mith and am i gonna have to keep doing cycle after cycle to gain and keep it...?

Also what should i avoid takeing that will only give short term gains and which roids will give me medium results but be longer lasting...?

Mikai --
If you are really strict about eating loads of calories that come from high-quality carb and protein sources, and you keep to regular training, the concensus seems to be that you can realistically keep 75-90+ percent of your gains. Also, make sure that you don't forget to take your Clomids every other day during the cycle, and twice a day for a week or two after the cycle with a taper off. I'm hearing from all the vets that Clomids really helps to prevent hormonal surges and swings post-cycle...plus they'll keep your boys from shrinking!

Cheers
That makes me feel better I would hate to work my ass of on a cycle then lose it...! It would seem pointless to do a cycle if that was the case would be easyer in the long run to just do it the slow natural way..!

Will sort the clomid dun want mouse balls do i...?

It also depends on the type of gear you are cycling. I dont know enough to give advice so ask some of the vets, but Primo and some of the others are good for keeping gains. Do some research bro and you wont be disappointed.

Clomid + tapering + intense training on and off = quality kept gains!

For instance, if you take dbol for 6 weeks at 30 mg/day abruptly stop and don't take clomid, you can kiss everything goodbye!

On the other hand, if you take some dbol and taper it down after hitting a peak, take clomid throughout and 2 weeks post cycle, you can expect to keep most of your gains.....a mild anabolic like primo or winny at the end doesn't hurt either!

I agree with the others...use your clomid. Work hard on and off cycle. Remember this is a lifestyle.

clomid will help but wont guarantee you will keep your gains ...your diet plays a huge role just as it does with everything else ....and you must keep your training intense if not more intense whe you stop your cycle

peace romeo

Romeo is right, your diet is key. I would consume as much if not more calories when you get off. Also begin preloading creatine mybe even preload for two weeks instead of just one. Creating supposedly helps negate catabolism. A major part though is going to be what you are taking though. Anadrols for 6 weeks and you wont keep shit. Test you might keep 50-75 deca is good and primo is good but also EQ is good. You have to weigh the two getting large gains will be harder to keep and vice-versa keeping smaller gains is easier. However remeber it's a roller coaster ride it will go down but it will always go higher the next time. If you gain 25 lbs and lose 10 you're still 15 lbs heavier now. stay clean and do it again until you dwarf Greg Kovaks 400 lbs ass.

Ok Got it...!

The clomid is on order should get it the weekend...!

Thanks for that been looking into things a bit and maybe a deca & sust cycle with some clomid thrown in would be good...!

Just a query does anyone know if there is a chart or amount of roids you should do for your body weight like so many cc's for every 14 pounds (Just an example..!)

Also, some AS cause you to hold more water than others -- when you go off, you lose the water. Some people get used to the water weight and when they lose it, their perception is that they are losing gains when all they're actually losing is water.
