Just lately i've been having PULSATING pain in my forearm's when i curl heavy.. actually when i curl at all. Feels like my bones gonna snap! Anybody experience this? is this just from too much strength gain too quickly? I also get this pain when i do heavy shrugs with the straight bar, but only on the arm that i grip palm out on the bar.

SOunds like a minor case of tendonitist. If you do bb curls or machine curls, do not bring the bar totally to your chest, ie leave a few inches at the top of the movement. I have this really bad in my wrists. If you act like you're doing an arm curl, without weights, the natural stopping point is when the bi hits your forearm, most of the time when you curl heavy weights, you go past this point which puts too much stress of the joints and tendons.

I've had this too many times, especially during heavy periods of lifting. The way I seem to avoid id is to make sure that I'm pulling my curls up with my biceps and not my forearms. The bad part is the tendinitus won't go completely away unless you let it rest.
