Hey bro's I need help. My protien intake is through the roof....the only problems is lately I have gas pains that have my waking in the middle of the night doubled over in pain. I can't shit, and when I do it is like I took a protien bar and balled it up and shit it out....OUCH!! What will help? I bought some Flax Seed Oil...will that work? IP: Logged |

drink wate water water and then some H2O if you are cycling also be sure to drink that water and take some liver protectors because to much protiewn is hard on the liver also. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I have to give up the goods on this one because I have been in your predicament in the very recent past. I couldn't shit to save my life, but I DID FIND RELIEF!! Here's the answer: Fiber!!! Get some FIBER soon! You can get a nasty case of hemeroids, plus it's no fun to constipated because of excessive protein intake. Oatmeal, vegetables, brown rice, or supplemental fiber if you want to go that route. Something else to consider: without enough fiber, your intestines are not able to absorb nutrients etc. from your food. A day after I started putting more fiber into my diet, I shit comfortably and my ass has been thanking me ever sense. One more thing: watch out for those damn protein bars! Those things will ball up my gut in no time flat. I'd rather starve for another hour than eat one of those damn protein bars. IP: Logged |

Yep, Thats your problem...Fiber!! You need a good GI cleansing..go with 25-35g of fiber per day, but add it in slowly or your going to start spending alot more time reading the newspaper, if ya know what I mean.. Later, IP: Logged |

bro, check out this guy Dr. Dooty 800-331-8354. I heard him on Howard Stern this morning. He has this powder that you mix with juice. Take it once a day or so and apparently it moves all the shit out of your large intestine. Not like a laxative, but makes you take a nice healthy crap. I now someone else had to hear howard this morning. If you try it out, let me know. I'd be curious to see how it works. A few dudes called in and said it was great. Hey Weez, I just heard that spot on Stern about 45 mintues ago! Amazing how word travels so fast. I thought about trying it, but unrefined oatmeal plus the brown rice seems to do the trick for me. It doesn't taste all that good, but let's face it; most of the early protein powders didn't taste too good either and we still ate that shit. ( and I use the term "shit" loosely.) aahthit hit it on the head bro. On my cycle I got retarded about the protein and had the same problems. Not so bad I was hunched over buy it sucked. I started to take Metamucil and it was cured. I took two teaspoons a day until I was "clean" then I took just one a day with breakfast. Helped out a shit load! Later, Green IP: Logged |

Without fiber, you will be going "cat crap" Hard, rock-like and dark. Try a cereal like "All Bran" You'll get 21 grams of fiber in one cup. Oatmal, by contrast, has only 4 grams of fiber in a cup of uncooked, regular oatmeal -- that cooks up a bowlful. Oatmeal is great, just not the best for fiber. IP: Logged |

I would take a fiber supplement and possibly digestive enzyme capsules. I always keep a bottle of digestive enzyme capsules around for when I drink a protein shake with low carbs and/or very high protein. IP: Logged |

you take more protein then your body can handle, even being on roids. You should not only cut on your protein intake, stop taking protein and let things get normal. Thanks guys!!!! I did cut out the protein to purge my system. Wheww!!! I think things are back to normal. I will start again tomorrow and THIS time use fiber. I posted this as the "Ultimate Fart Enhancer" in the chat forum, but it will give you the desired effect. The product is called "Textured Soy Protein" and you can probably find it at your local health food store (NOT GNC!). There is actually a potential health hazard here. Excessive constipation and dehydration for extended period of time can lead to a blocked or partially blocked bowel. That would be extrememly bad. There is a secondary stress put on the liver as well...(I am assuming you have exogenously provided the primary stress through the end of a 22 gauge needle.) Don't waste money on laxatives just yet. Buy a large bottle of prune juice with pulp, and refrigerate it. First thing in the morning, drink a glass and follow it with a hot cup of black coffee. Then, increase your water intake until you are at least drinking three litres a day. Don't get silly with the water...you can get water intoxication in a hurry if you are in a state of precarious water balance. You will know if you have water intoxication by the severe feeling of detachment and imminent astral projection. You want to get regular quickly, though, in all seriousness. IP: Logged |
