![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Accutane has some pretty harsh side effects, I wouldn't go that far yet. Try changing the sheets on your bed every two days or so, and wash your back and shoulders at least once per day. I used a product called Phisoderm Body Wash and it cleared me up in about a week. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Do not take accutane with the sauce. It's hard on your liver. Wait till the sauce is out of your body then take it. I would just go with an oral antibiotic or retin A. Get creams cause your liver in working overtime now. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Same thing hapened to me. Relax, it can be cleared up in a week. Take two or three showers a day. Go to the tanning bed. And get neutrogena's multi vitamin acne treatment. You can put it on your shoulders as many times a day as possible. Also increase your vitamin C levels drastically. It is alright to take too much because your body just throws it off. Lettuce is also supposed to clean the skin so eat a lot of salad. Good Luck. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I use Retin-A cream each day, post-shower. Retin-A comes in various strengths from 0.025% to 0.1. I use the .025 all over my shoulders and the 0.1 on acne. DO NOT "pop" any of the pimples -- It will damage the surrounding tissue, resulting in red/purple sores. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I had the same problem... went to the dermatologist and got put on accutane. It's not bad at all if you do it through a doctor where your blood is checked like every 2-3 weeks. I went 5 months on it and cleared right up. I realize that seems like a long time but supposedly once accutane dries up your glands you skin in cured more or less permanently. I am back on a cycle now and no problems what so ever. you do want to get off though before you start and also get it through a doc the shit cost close to 400.00 a month for me just for the drug without doc visits. Do you better have insurance. just go to the dermatologist and tell them a friend had acne bad and accutane was the only thing that worked and you want to try it. It is not a controlled substance so they have no reservations about prescribing it as long as you are willing to have the blood work done often enough. It did just that and walked out with a script that same day. good luck IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Accutane is great for acne. But make sure you don't want to have kids for about 7 years. It can cause serious birth defects. Also has a long half life. Talk to the dr. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here is an interesting question. What type of Acne are you getting. Localized bumps on the top of the skin that comes to a white head? If so they can be treated with over the counter meds. Those are causeed by the over production of oils in your sweat glads. I am getting these nice ones under my skin. Not surface and never coming to a head. These thing are pains in the butt because there is nothing to get rid of them. IU have tried almost everthing on these and nothign takes care of them. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I've got lots of bacne right now, and the best way to take care of it is to shower with an antibacterial soap, i use tersaseptic, tan every day if you can. Using epsom salts in your bath and soak in them will help a lot, but it will dry out your skin, and you'll need to moisturize. If things are really bad, i wouldn't reccomend taking accutance, go and get a script for tetracycline that will take care of it, it's just a strong antibiotic. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If you are getting a lot of little red pimples, I mean a lot.....it could be contaminated gear. I know one guy who got it real bad from taking some fake suspension and he still has crazy dark scarring....what are you on? Roids can cause your glands to become overactive. If this is the case, no Retin-A, or topical can help from new break outs. They will just help kill the pimple once it has already come out. Other times it has to do with your cleanliness. Once your juicing you tend to workout harder and swet more. This is the reason for most acne during a cycle, and topical medicines can help in this situation. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() yeah, the big ones under the skin that are unpopable, is cystic acne. Most treatments today are only somewhat effective for cystic acne, however, accutane is the most effective for treating this type of acne. Also some alternative therapy that I have tried is vitamin supplementation. It may not help much with steriod-induced acne, but for those that have acne all the time or have had it for a long time following a cycle, this may help. Selenium, chromium, zinc, b6, vit A, vit E. By the way Accutane is very high is synthetic Vitamin A, which is one reason it is toxic to the liver. IP: Logged |
