I love my girlfriend and don't want to hurt her or affect her eggs in anyway. Since she may just be fathering my children in a year or two. Besides this point, I know that DNP is a teratogen and can cause birth defects in developing children, but what about eggs still in her ovaries? I can go a week w/o sex, but how do I keep from harming her? I know that DNP sublimes and that even your breath can carry the substance. Bros w/ experience, please help a brother out. Thanks, DecaDemon IP: Logged |

Unless she's actually taking the substance, she should be safe. The amount of DNP and its metabolites in saliva, sperm, and especially breath is too small to be of any therapeutic value. You need not panic about this. Update: If you're trying to conceive a child, you could have problems with the actual sperm, i.e. possible mutagens and deformities. I would wait for one to two months before attempting to conceive. Good luck! [This message has been edited by GymRatSD (edited July 17, 2000).] IP: Logged |

I have no experience with DNP or am in any way any kind of guru. I do remember someone posting that he would sleep apart from his wife when he was on dnp due to profusely sweating yellow. IP: Logged |

to expand on what gymrat says, sperm takes 9 weeks to mature. So, wait at least 9 weeks after last dosage of DNP before attempting to conceive...that will almost ensure that the lucky sperm started after the DNP cycle. IP: Logged |

Well, on the sperm question, I would figure it is almost impossible to concieve while on a cycle because of the extreme temp. The dramatically increased temp caused by DNP is very close to that of high fevers and they have shown to kill off high levels of sperm. I wouldn't worry about your girl bro. I understand your concern but it not likely that you'll pass much DNP to her through sex or through contact. IP: Logged |
