I just finished my 3rd week of a Sus/Eq/Winny (my first) cycle but on Saturday I broke 3 ribs, it kinda sucks. These apparently take 3-6 weeks to heal.

I've been going Sust 250 mgs/5 days, Eq 300 mg/wk, Winny 250mgs/wk.

I really don't want to cut my cycle off now, I've worked pretty freakin' hard preparing for this one and I've got it set in my mind hit the iron hard. It made me sick when the doc was telling me I have to sit on my ass for a week.

I'm going to bank on being able to hit the gym in 1-2 weeks and work some lower body parts (calfs, thighs, hams) + any other body part that won't affect my ribs (easier said than done) and then gradually increase intensity based upon my recovery. I'm thinking of cutting back on my dosage a little bit bit keep my blood levels up while I heal. At the end, I'll extend my cycle to 10 weeks instead of the initially planned 8, cutting Winny off in wk 7.

What do you guys think about this. Should I press through and alter my cycle based upon my recovery or should I taper off and start again fresh when I know I'm totally healed??

That sucks bro, but remember that everything happens for a reason. You might not know the reason now, but hopefully you soon will. Good Luck with the recovery. As far as advice I am going to Bump, but not sure if anything any bro can tell you will this.

Sorry to hear about that bro. I can tell you from my expeience. I broke two ribbs playing hockey and couldn't do anything for 3 weeks. Shit, it killed just to sneeze. I know you won't like hearing this, but it will probably be a lot longer than you think before you can lift again. It sucks but lifting puts a lot of stress on your body as a whole, upper or lower. And you don't want to re-injure anything. Just my experience, good luck!

Just an opinion, I would let them heal up and then go back on really hard.

You don't want to lift thru it. I broke my hand last summer and didn't stop lifting. I would wrap it up real tight before I lifted. First of all, it hurt like a bitch. You'd have to be an idiot to put yourself thru pain like that on purpose. Second, my hand never really healed. Sure it's not broken any more, but it's all screwed up. And it hurts all the time. I'd just wait it out and not put yourself thru it. You've got lots of time to do plenty more cycles.

When I broke two ribs on my left side it hurt like hell just to breath. My doc told me the same bullshit about 4 weeks. Two weeks my ASS. Those fuckers were hurtin for close to eight weeks, and when I called my doc to tell him he just kept adding on weeks to his prognosis -- kept telling me two more weeks(fuck him). Anyways be prepared to be in pain for more than two or three weeks. If you are planning on training through it, then plan on them hurting (from time to time) even after they have "healed". Take ATLEAST two weeks off (upper body anyways) to let it rest some. Good luck and hope you heal faster than I did. Later bro.

Rule of thumb should be if you can't workout intense for one week then abandon cycle.

You seem to have a serious injury. So I would stop it know and start clomid for 3 weeks.

Let it heal and then start a cycle in 8-10 weeks when your ribs are 100%.

Damn man I'm sorry to hear this and even sorrier to give my advice since I know your not going to like it. You are only three weeks in and so I think you should cut your cycle off and wait until healthy before beginning again. You will be saving alot of AS and your receptor freshness. you don't want your first cycle (or any for that matter)to be under less than the utmost intense conditions. With a broken rib this is simply not possible. They need to heal not be jarred around as I know this is a very painful injury. Take care and hold off for 4-6 weeks. You willonly need to replace three weeks of drugs and then you will have yourself a very productive first cycle. Good luck man.

Sorry to hear about that bro, but take the time off and let it heal properly otherwise you might screw it up even more and have to suffer even longer. Just do something to help keep the gains like creatine or something and then go back on hard when your fully recovered. It's not worth taking the chance.

I've been unfortunate enough to have incurred broken ribs on two separate cycles. I continued with the cycles, and didn't ease up on my workouts. I believe the gear helped me to heal more rapidly than I otherwise would have. Good luck.

I appreciate everyone's advice and support. I'll keep ya posted on my recovery.

At least I know this, when I'm recovered and ready to go again, I'm going balls to the wall!!

Peace,
