I have Osteoarthritus in left knee, which i normally can get around. However i am having major Lactic Acid build up,really painfull affecting my left leg it throws out my entire left hand side out & is starting to piss me off & get me down mentally. I am just fortunate that i have good legs. unable to train at present. I currently find the only cure is a visit to my physio. One painfull massage, thought us body builders were hard ! this helps but does not cure it fully & only for a short period of time. Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted. I really miss my leg work outs. IP: Logged |

I did a study a few months ago into the effects of NAHCO3 ingestion upon intermittent resistance exercise with a bodybuilding style of protocol. The results indicated that the amount of work performed was not affected however fatigue was delayed, implying that the NAHCO3 buffered the lactate. Try using the baking soda at a dosage of 0.2g/kg of body mass. If there are no side effects such as the runs try 0.3. Hope it helps. IP: Logged |
