Hi Guys and Girls.
I have a problem. I dont know if its because of the dbol i am taking, but i am having really big problems finishing my back workouts. My arms and forearms are getting so pumped during the first couple of sets i just cant complete a satisfactory workout for my back. Like on rows today i did to light sets and could hardly lift my arms above my head !!!!..Others must have this problem, how do you get around it and give your back the punishment it deserves???...My back feels as if it hasnt been worked at all today, whereas my arms are as pumped as hell....any suggestions??

Cheers.

hI THERE...YEAH I HOPE SO. My arms are like rocks and just restricts my range of motion so much i cant work my back, its the same with triceps and chest at the moment...i think it may be something to do with the 50mg of dbol i am taking, but there must be a way around it!!

if it's the Dbol, then skip them. Take something else and see if there are any changes.

Why so much d-bol anyway, 30mg should suffice. Works great at that dosage for me.

Stick with wide grip exercises, stretch
extremely well between sets and do partial
reps while squeezing your back hard.
Partials will take your arms mostly out
of the picture.

Dorian Yates once wrote that if your arms are getting really pumped during back workouts, and you feel as though your back is not getting worked, you are training improperly. I used to be like that till i started doing back right. Things like partial reps, squeeze and hold, and pulling with the elbows. Now when i train my back, it feel like i have a very heavy backpack on. Arms don't get as pumped.

The saint was right on with partial reps, they really help.

try the rist wraps if you are not already using them and like mention before get a good squeeze at the end of the rep and make sure you are flexing your back on the contraction

I have the same problems sometimes. Try doing widegrip pull-ups without bending your arms. Yes I know this sounds weird, but all you do is try and bring your chest up to the bar, you can't but try. You'll only move about eight inches max, but damn you'll get one hell of a pump. Not many people do these but they work VERY well. try doing Partial deadlifts. use a power rack, raise the spot bar to knee level and do do these deadlifts, make sure to squeeze you back hard at the top, this will make it explode also. then do pullovers on a bench with you ass hanging off, three sets of these will finish your lats well. Now that the muscles are fatuged start with your rows and tbar, you'll see that the time your bi's start to kick in you'll alredy be fried anyway...
GOOD LUCK...let me know how it works...

I would suggest the wrsit straps to take your forearm work out of the back movement. Also, try putting your thumb on the same side at your fingers on the bar. Make your hand like a hook rather than grabbing it. It will take a considerable amount of bicep out of a rowing exercise.
