well, i am still hurt like hell, but fuck this. i cant not do it. i think i have tennis elbow or a tear somewhere in there, but oh well, i have trained for 4 years with two cuff tears, so why not do it some more. i am starting a small cycle, just trying to get some muscle back and tone up. i am only doing about 18-22 mg of reforvit a day, with 400 mg of deca a week, and 200 mg of enanthate a week... i have never done high doses and this is a decent cycle for me, so i dont need criticism or comments about that. i do want feed back on training. i am wondering if i should add more machines into my training. chest killed me, i was a pussy on my free weights, it was kinda funny actually. i am also hoping to make decent gains while using weights 3 or 4 times a week, no more. i used to go 5 a week always, no matter what, but i cant do that now. any feedback for training is welcomed. if you see me in the gym, please dont point and laugh. "hey look at teh 230 lb pussy lifting 135!!!!!" IP: Logged |

Hey mb, good to see you back. Are you going through to get the sauce? Try this split: mon.-legs tues.-chest wed.-off thurs.-back/tris fri.-shoulders sat.-off sun.-start cycle over. It has done me wonders for results and recuperation. If your elbows are fucked, go light on tri's and bi's until they start to strengthen. Use dumbells alot on chest. They really help to bring it up. Barbell(if you are not already muscular, puts alot of wear and tear on your joints. IP: Logged |

Are you sure it is a tennis elbow ? Then it must hurt on the outside ? Normally training with weights hurts on the inside. In that case a golf elbow. ------------------ Don't look back, life is too short IP: Logged |

i am not SURE its tennis elbow, however... it hurts on the inside of the joint sometimes... but it ALWAYS hurts on the top. reach your arm out and give the thumbs up sign. look at your arm and at the highest part of the forarm near the elbow is where the pain is. IP: Logged |

The deca will help with the pain. You should also try Glucosamine and Chondroiton. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Tennis elbow is lateral epicondylitis and it is painful at the lateral distal end of the humerus. Golfers elbow is on the medial side. They both occur from multiple trama like repeated tennis swings or multiple reps. If its tennis elbow you should stretch your wrist extensors(pushing your wrist down to stretch) and ice after workout. This should help alliviate the problem. IP: Logged |

MB welcome back. I remember your injury as if it was yesterday. The dx'es were fast and furious and the bottom line is that you're still hurt and that is reason for concern. Did you get it checked? I remember asking if there was an muscle deformity and/or bruising but you ended your posts around that time. At any rate, if your are going to train warmup thoroughly before hand (I use flexall prior to training to help facilitate this) and stretch during your entire workout. At the end, ICE in an elongated position to avoid further scar tissue and adhesions from forming.

I had tennis elbow for years, then Poliquin said something I probably knew in the back of my mind. He said that for tennis elbow you need strengthen your grip and watch your form. I have been working on grip strength and sure enough the pain is almost completely gone. IP: Logged |

hey jersey... i have no insurance... so no doc visits. there is no deformation, nor bruising or any discoloration for that matter. it just feels like a charlie horse, but in the forearm instead of the quad. IP: Logged |

Hmmmm, I don't see any evidence of permanent injury with what you described. This leads me to believe that the problem is one of a metabolism problem. What I am thinking is taht you may have a trigger point in your radiobrachialis muscle. A trigger point is a focal irritation in the muscle that mimics a miniature muscle spasm. The problem has something to do with the sodium/potassium pump that regulates muscular contraction and release. Hardcore muscle stripping, replacement of of vital electrolytes, (e.g. sodium, potassium, and calcium are the biggies), and a conscious effort to reduce stimulants (which are diuretics in disguise) should help. I have has this exact problem in my right forarm that prohibited any pulldowns or hammer curls for a few weeks until I finallly worked it out. Hope this helps. get big or get out IP: Logged |
