Hey guys I've noticed that a lot of us in here have really itch trigger fingers lately to flame and I think it sucks! No one likes to get flamed for asking what you think is an obvious question. Remember that this is a brotherhood and a lot of these guys here are new to the game and don't know that this board is strict with their rules unlike most of the other boards aren't. This is a great board and I love reading the posts and trying to help with what I can but I think the flames are going way overboard lately. We have a solid knowledge base here and I'd hate to see it chased away over stupid little flames. Anyway spoke my peace. Later, Green

I agree, I was caught up in that too. Consider this an addendum to the apology I put in the PrepH post.

There are obvious retards that post as a source day after day and they deserve it. It's ok to do if done in good taste or in humor but when someone just gets hammered and din't mean any harm it gives us all a bad name. LAter bros, Green

As a member who has recently flamed a couple of posts, I'd like to respond.

After I discovered this board, one of the first things I noticed about it was that the vets continuously advised new members to read the Newbie Post before posting questions. I read the Newbie Post and used the search option to gather information and read the boards for several weeks before deciding to contribute with comments of my own. Back then, not too long ago, the posts were a lot less repetitive, the questions were more thought out, and fewer members complained about the multitude of posts that they have to sift through to find the good ones.

Flames are usually considered a learning experience and are mostly done in fun, like the legendary clambutteroil. Anyway, this is still a great board and not a day goes by that I don't check the posts, It just seems that fewer and fewer vets are posting and more newbies. Which in itself isn't a bad thing I just think we can learn from the vets and their posts are still available if we search for them before asking questions that have been answered already time and time again. Just my $0.02

understand that most of the questions that are now asked have been 80% answered already in one form or another but there does come a time when if nobody posted because they did there research than i personally would feel left out not able to contribute i consider this place to be like a coffee shop after a workout hang out listen to conversations about latest updates work outs and of course the humor some people post a question just to get some fresh feed back there might be some new info or someone with a different expereince and well i can go on but i wont.

Hey eastarr the problem is that good questions like the prep-H one get hammered because it was a new idea and most just pawned it off as garbage but ended up being a really good thread. I just want people to think twice before ripping into someone. A lot of quick flamming as of late, that's all. I agree crap like this shouldn't have to be posted but what can we do? Later, Green
