I like EAS's Simply Protein. 100% Whey, which is the best kind. It has 20g protein/serving, almost 30 if you mix it with skim milk. 80 servings per container. I did the math and it's the best I can find. At four shakes a day (120g protein when mixed with milk) it lasts 20 days. For all you guys who shop at GNC, the place is a ripoff. I paid $40 for it at GNC, $24.99 at MuscleMag.

I support the board we all post on by using 3/60 Triple Threat from Mass Quantities. It's 60 grams of protein derived from 3 different sources....and it has a great taste.

I agree with boss man. Simply protein
GNC does suck but I work there and get it for just under $20 with my discount.

I'm using Designer Protein right now. Hard to beat the quality, but a little pricey. I've used ISP protein before and like the product, but the taste if funky. After I run out of Designer, I'm going to try www.proteinfactory.com (thanks to the recommendation of a few bros around here).

But the best? Designer Protein is one of them.

I just read an article in Flex that makes perfect since to me. Their conclusion was that for bodybuilding purposes, when consumed in mass quantities, it's all too close to justify spending more on a "Quality" protein. They actually show graphs in the article and you would be surprised to see how close whey is to whole food proteins. And if you notice, bodybuilding diets are comprised mainly of whole foods because that's what works.

I'm not saying to use some shitty tasting cheap ass soy, but find a cheap whey that you can digest (not get the shits) and use it. I prefer the 5lb Optimum 100% Whey

(which I get at dpsnutrition.com for about $25.00)

Mixes easy, tastes good and has glutamine peptites.

Whey Combo from protienfactory.com

50% CFM Whey isolate
40% Hydrolyzed whey 520
10% Whey protein concentrate

Tastes like shit, but you get used to it. I'm halfway through twenty pounds of this stuff now and the taste no longer bothers me.

so you are a gold card pusher too lethal59. GNC may suck, but if you work there you get hooked up fat. It is the coolest job i have had next to growing dope. Plus we get to keep the shit people return so i have my friends buy nitrotec and weight gainers 2500 at another gnc then return it at my store. I havent had to buy shit yet.

If you want to mix it, I have used the designer whey protein. This stuff is cheap and mixes good.

I am noy trying the nitrotech stuff from muscletech. It is supposed to allow more protein to be absorbed into the body.

They say you lose most of your intake you drink with other proteins through digestion and out the old waste holes.

I find no difference. Thus, I am going back to designer whey.

I use two kinds of protein. I use either designer or nitro tech after I work out and then I use the GNC whey protein throughout the day. That way I have a high quality protein when I need it most and an affordable protein as well. I bought two of the 6 pound whey proteins from GNC for sixty bucks after the second one half price and gold card discounts. You can talk shit about GNC all you want but that is a good price.

Designer protein is the best tasting I've tried. Basically, any whey protein product that you can stand the taste of and doesn't give you the shits is great. Lot of good advice above for different brands

bigrickrock, just a wild guess but do you work for elitefitness?? but i do have to agree the triple threat stuff is pretty good, but i think they should make them in packets, so you can bring them to work, or if you go on a trip, so you don't have to lug around that tub.
