I been bugged by my girlfriend to get a tan saying it look great and it's a good idea. So my questions are... What's the best way to get a tan? If I get sunburned any tips to keep from getting sore during training? IP: Logged |

Try "AVEDA Sun Source". It's a self-tanning cream. It will give you a light, natural-looking tan. Won't make you really dark, but if you only want to add some color, I'd recommend it. If you decide to get a real tan. Use a tanning bed and try tan accellerators. These creams are applied before you "tan" and improve the speed with which you'll get dark. Hope that helps. IP: Logged |

My first choice is always natural tanning in the sun. When time doesn't permit me to do that, I opt for indoor tanning beds. I usually stay away from tanning cream because it tends to turn me orange IP: Logged |

Just go swimming and use tanning lotion with spf15 for several hours a week. You should be on your way in several weeks. IP: Logged |

stand up power booths are the quickest tan i've gotten, the fastest for color. If you are getting sore DURING your workout, that could be overtraining, protein is your healer. IP: Logged |

yeah aM, I agree standups are the quickest way. You don't have to stay in them for 1/2 hour either. Only 10-15 mins/day. Also using a tanning accelerator (Swedish Beauty works awesome) kicks things up a notch. IP: Logged |

**HERE'S A GOOD POINTER I JUST LEARNED** If you overdo it in a tanning bed or in the sun, just take a cool shower to reduce the redness and burning feeling. I actually tan a little longer now that I know to do this. I come out of the bed red as hell, but after a cool shower, I look and feel fine. IP: Logged |

There is some lotion made by california tan that helps with burns, it turns a red face into a brown face after a day or so. I buy it at www.lotionbarn.com They have great prices compared to tanning salons ------------------ IP: Logged |
