I just finished reading (again) the article on the elite homepage about esters. And in my opinion, the article contradicts itself. Yes, test is test, but the different esters have markedly different effects. For example, 200mg enanthate does not equal 200mg propionate (even neglecting the weight of the esters). With propionate, the free testosterone in the blood will peak quick - the ester having a release time of a few days as compared to 10-14 days for enanthate. Therefore, higher blood concentrations of test will result from using 200mg propionate vs. 200mg enanthate. For the sake of argument, lets say that enanthate is released 3 times slower than propionate. To get the same blood concentration, I think you would have to inject 600mg of enanthate all at once - but only every 9 days (if the release rate was constant, which it probably isn't). For the same result you would inject 200mg propionate, only every three days. Simple math right? I think that this is the reason that people say "such and such" a drug doesn't kick in for about 3 weeks. This is because they are injecting more frequently than the life of the ester and slowly building up blood concentrations of the drug. Again, let's take enanthate as an example. If I inject 200mg every 5 days, but it takes the ester 10 days to fully release, then by the time I take my second shot there is still 100 mg of drug left in my glute (again assuming a constant release rate) and 100mg has been released into the bloodstream. Therfore, I now have 300mg of drug in my glute. Now, 5 days later, I still have 150mg of drug in my glute and 150mg has been released to the bloodstream. So for the first shot I released 100mg in 5 days and for the second I released 150mg in 5 days so you can see how the blood concentrations are increasing. The article even states that with some esters, because of the differences in release rates, some side effects are worse than with others. Therefore, NOT EQUAL! I apologize if this was obvious to everyone else that read the article and I'm just slow on the uptake. If my reasoning is flawed, please straighten me out. If not, I will agree that a testosterone molecule is a testosterone molecule but will argue that A TESTOSTERONE DRUG IS NOT A TESTOSTERONE DRUG and leave it at that. IP: Logged |

Ok. I am going to do my second cycle consisting of testoviron depot. Dbol etc. Is this a good test and at 500mg. a week, how often should I take it. Also, all at once? I was all set until I read this. Thanks. ------------------ "Pain is weakness leaving the body>>>" IP: Logged |

Well, I am in the same boat as above. I'll shoot every 7 days I rekon. ------------------ "Pain is weakness leaving the body>>>" IP: Logged |

Hmmm...I didn't really draw any conclusions on the practicality of it all. But (if my assumptions above are correct) I guess if one were to inject more frequently than the release time of the ester, then I could see an argument for starting higher and then tapering down to see a more even blood concentration level of test.
