Spawn, The last number 195.99.60.240 has a stealth firewall and you can't get in. But the other 2 are active. But like I've said before if he uses a dial-up to connect these numbers will not help you. The IP addresses on a dial-up are assigned dynamically. When you dial-up the server assigns you a number that is open from their block. It will change evertime you dial-up. In this case based on what I read from the post above me this ISP has over 65000 addresses according to ARIN. His computer could be on any one of them. All you can do is write abuse@... whatever the ISP is, and they can check their logs if you give them an exact time and they can find out who had that number at that time. But they're not going to tell you anything they handle it themselves. IP: Logged |

We are working on some cool anti hacking software where I work. We are installing it now and testing it. What it does is looks for patterns that a hacker might be trying to get through the firewall. When the pattern is matched the software follows the ip back and copies everything it can from his harddrive etc... It's not up and running yet but if it works then we can prosacute when we find our data on his harddrive etc... L8R ------------------ IP: Logged |

All IP addresses are up and running I can finger the user that is conneted to them IP addresses. But like you said they asre all dial-up accoutns. Unless he pays for a static account then there is no way to track him. Every time he dials his local ISP then he gets the next number in line on their DHCP server. As soon as he hangs up it releases that IP and a diffrent person gets it. Usually takes a few minute to release depending on how they have the DHCP server set up. DCC.net is a pretty large ISP. They do have a wide range on IP addresses for all the dial-up customers they have. What you can do is get the IP address from when he made a post, get the time, and date of the post. Call the provider and tell them he was doing harm while he was on, and sometimes not always, they will revoke access for his dial-up account. All he has to do is get another ISP then back where he started. IP: Logged |
