I would def. give them a try. Some of my friends have had good success with them.

Use leg press & hack squats until your back heals up. You don't want to make it any worse than it is.

the best thing for a bad back is to have strong abs so work them extra hard.
good luck

You wanna know what to do? Okay ill tell you. Gruelling, painful, deadlifts!!!
It will strenghten your back and your pain will go away after a few sessions, mine is going away because of them.
Start slow and always in good form. It fucking hurts and is very uncomfortable during and shortly after your workout, feels so damn tight, Iknow, but after it gets better. Strengthneing and stretching is the only way to get the pain away. Stretch hams and low back in between sets and after workout. Dont even wear a belt.
Sounds crazy a bit but if your doing them safe, itll work, take it progressively.

what if it is skeletal and not muscle related?...am i just fucked....i refuse to get that surgery, too many people say it resulted in worse pain or nothing...ive been trying deadlifts, strict form, no belt, light weight....and oh my god how it hurts the next day...i was a tad suspicious if this was exaggerating the problem or helping it...thanks yall
