Two days after my first ever injection(deca) I got really sick. At first it felt like an ordernary cold, but after having sore a throat, joint pain and fever for a month I went to see a doctor. The doc told me that I had an unknown hepatities(not A, B or C)and that I probably got it from the deca. This turned out to be wrong. What I had was an Cytomegalo virus flareup, caused by an weakened immuno system. Cytomegalo is a very common virus that can cause mild hepatities and other mononucleosis like symptoms. But why was my immuno functions suppressed?stress, less than perfect diet, not enough sleep or the deca? Anyway the infection developed into something called "postviral fatigue syndrome" or "chronic fatigue syndrome" wich really sucks. I`ve been ill for about a year now, but hopefully I can begin training again in 6 months or so(it can last for more than a decade!!)

I know transplant patients are given cortico steroids to suppress their immuno functions preventing the body to reject the new organ.
Is deca a cortico steroid?

no, its not a corticosteroid, and yes AS can suppress your immune system directly, but usually there are other variables that come into play. I highly suspect your "CFS" is in your head. You need to snap out of it and get on with your life. Otherwise you will be center of this controversial diagnosis for the rest of your life. Stay positive.

steroids can make you ill.(new substance entering into the body) but you probably just need to rent Pumping Iron. Works for me

See a doctor and ask about getting on anti-depressants. They have been known to work wonders with CFS. In fact, many medical practitioners currently believe that CFS is simply depression.

you will find anyone with CFS has yeast problems in the gut, 100% of the time, this also will effect your joints, cause headaches and unexplained and misdignosed problems....chiropractor and clinical nutritionist is my profession..the truth...please go seek out a clinical nutrit...and stay away from the anti depressents
