![]() ![]() ![]() ok. the tendonitis is really acting up in my wrist. It gets really painful every now and then. It hurts to type right now. I don't want this f'n pain forever, which it seems like I'll have. The doc told me to just keep it easy, ice it if I need to, etc. I would like to relieve it somewhat better than just "taking it easy". But I'm wondering... deca does help when I'm on it. What would be everyone's opinion about going on 200mg/wk of deca for quite a while? I'm talking maybe half of year or so, then some time off (probably a few months), and then back on again for another 6 months or so? Keep in mind this isn't for mass building, just to help out with discomfort. What would be the pros/cons of doing this.. opinions? ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Deca is only short term. Soon it will not work as well and that will be the least of the side effects. You must find a better solution or orthopedic surgeon. Get some additional opinions from a couple of good otrthopedic doctors about alternative treatments. If you have an injury it must heal in time or may need a surgical procedure. Try to avoid surgery. Good luck. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() What kind of doctor did you see? If rest was the only advice you got I would seek out another doctor, perhaps a specialist like an orthopedic. I would at least try to find out before lookig into AS for pain relief. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If the doc cannot help you, if I where you I would tape the wrist ALL day (or wrap it). Only remove it when going to bed. The next morning taping it again. Put ice on it, take some pills for the tendonitis (I think it is ?). If taking Deca for a long time, why not take it for 3 months (12 weeks, like on a cycle), stop for a month and go at it again for 3 months. Or surgery, but you will be out for a serious time. This is what I would do. Jeff ------------------ IP: Logged |
