i know most people use 23 guage 1 1/2 inch for glute shots. all i could find here is 21 guage 1 1/2 inch. anyone ever used a bugger guage like this? and will it work ok? IP: Logged |

Yep they'll do the trick. If you can use one needle to draw your gear and then switch to a new one to inject with. It's not like they're expensive. This is to make sure it's very sharp. The larger sizes tend to get dull easier and hurt like a bitch. IP: Logged |

I would also recommend 2Thick's site. The 21g will work fine. I use a 1"23g for glute and it has worked well. Unless you have allot of fatty tissue in your glute ... the one inch will be long enough. The 21g will sting. Good luck. ------------------ IP: Logged |

fuck 21 gages...those puppies are more likely to "core" your muscle tissue...I'd highly recommend switching to 22 or 23's...you can buy the goddamn things anywhere without a script for .10 each... go to CVS or a pharmacy until you find the right size...then sign a fake name in thier log in book...I went to 4 pharms before I found the right size but, eventually I found what I wanted...if not I'll get the goddamn things for you and you'll owe me a dollar-x IP: Logged |

While 21 guage will work, I wouldn't suggest using it. Check out Macro's post titled "pins and you". Larger pins will create more scar tissue......always use the smallest pin you can possibly inject through. IP: Logged |

I'm from Canada so you can get needles at any corner drugstore, they just don't have any 1 1/2 inch 23 guage in. I've been using 1 inch for glute but when I pull it out I get oil leakage IP: Logged |

21 gauge is 0.8mm or 1/32 inch 22 gauge is 0.7 mm or 1/36 inch 23 gauge is 0.6 mm or 1/42 inch. Jeff ------------------ IP: Logged |
