I like to stay around 9% bodyfat but I feel dead the next day if I train as intense as I like to and do cardio in the same day.

500 calories on a aerobics day... usually on the full body elipical things... 500 cal usually take between 30 to 45 minutes depending on if I'm keto or not.

you should eat some protein before you run, expecally at 45min., all you need is some lean turkey or a low carb bar. this way if i get to the point of burning muscle i will burn the extra protein in body first.

lemme help you out bro
i've been dieting/doing cardio for one month.
i've been doing about an hour a day-minimum.
i break it up into two sessions, a.m., p.m.
i've gone from a 38 in waist to a 34 1/2 in waist in a month.I've lost twenty pounds-but hardly any strength or size. i eat 2500-3000 calories a day, lots of protein, and i break those calories down into ten or eleven meals a day- that's key.

Check out the body types of sprinters vs. marathon runners. 'nuf said.

Good running cardio should include sprinting, not just jogging at one pace for an hour or more. Besides the boredom factor of it, jogging is hard on the body, muscles, and joints.

Personally, I enjoy taking my bike out on road trips, using some hills for a test. I also take cycling classes when I can't get out in the open. It's much better than sitting on a stationary bike. B-O-R-I-N-G.

I also separate out the cardio crap from the weight training. Therefore, I'm not spending as much time in the gym (for a while I think they were going to pull out a cot for me to sleep on I was there so much) and I have energy for both.

I do intense cardio about three days a week on average, but I also have the metabolism of a snail. I have to do everything I can to keep the bad weight off.
