![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() When I do a cycle, its 16 weeks, 8 bulking and 8 cutting. It seems that for the first two weeks of the cutting half I actually look worse than if I had just kept eating, like the first thing I loose is triglyceride, lean tissue becomes flat and waistline stays. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I know that everytime I start a diet it's like this. Have you ever done a Keto Diet? When you start 2-3 days later you look like absolute shit with empty muscles and seem so soft. This gets better after a week or two I find. Don't know why? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Okay, keep in mind I am still an AS virgin (soon...hehehe) But I have stair-stepped myself down 100 pounds of fat or so. And every time I switch from a "bulking" phase to a "cutting" phase I notice that exact thing. I always thought it was due to water distribution in the body. That perhaps the intramuscular water was getting shed first. Then the skin level water and fat and so on. This, i figured, would explain the initial temporary strength/muscularity loss. It always went away after about a week, and my strength returned to normal. Next time I switch to cutting I am going to try and use creatine to counteract the effect and see if it helps. justmy$.02 Somebody with some more info? Puc IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It must be a combo of 2 things. The shock to the body. In short term your body just breaks down amino's to replace calories after 3 days or so it starts to realise that it needs to deal with the deficit in a more efficient way burning fat. Got this info for reading Chris Aceto's stuff. The other thing is visually your skin is loose so it takes a while for it to become tight. It's best to lose fat slowly to make sure you look tight.
