I know most of the bros on this board are American, so I hope I can get still get some help on this subject. I found tons of stuff all over the web about American laws, but unfortunately for me at this particular time I am Canadian. ( the only time it's unfortunate, hehehe ). Anyways I'd really appreciate any direction towards sites, so I can educate myself on this topic. IP: Logged |

It is legal to possess steroids for personal use in Canada. As long as you do not sell it or get caught buying it. ------------------ http://2thick.elitefitness.com IP: Logged |

Just to add to 2Thick's statement - it is also illegal to import or export steroids. IP: Logged |

If it's illegal to buy it, then why is it legal to possess personal use?? How do they expect me to get it?? IP: Logged |

Supose your uncle has a lab and a license to purchase raw materials. You do odd jobs around the house and run errands form him. And in turn for your hard work he rewards you with a jar of his favorite recipe. Maybe there is something in the law that says you don't need to show proof of a perscription. So they assume it's from a doc? T Bone IP: Logged |

It might be a little hard to justify having a bottle of winny or 200 d-bols, as there is no medical use for them for humans. IP: Logged |

If you want to file through Canadian steroid laws, they fall under prescription meds. They are not scheduled (like in the US), only controlled. ------------------ http://2thick.elitefitness.com IP: Logged |

2-thick, when a substance is scheduled, that means it is controlled. Correct? IP: Logged |

When a substance is controlled it means that you need a doctor's authorization to obtain it. When a substance is scheduled, then possessing this substance without medical documentation is against the law (and is punishable by law). ------------------ http://2thick.elitefitness.com IP: Logged |

A "controlled substance" means a drug, substance, or immediate precursor included in schedules I thru V. So in a sense, one is the other. Scheduling the controlled substance is done primarily on the basis for potential of abuse. some substances are controlled (C-V)in the states and can be dispensed wihout a prescription. IP: Logged |
