your doc should have told u all about that, or didn't u ask him. Mine said no activities involving tension on the chest for 3 weeks, I was able to do legs after the first week, as long as your not tensing your chest, that area has to stay relaxed so it can heal. I just said fuck it and didn't do any training for 3 weeks, amazingly I hardly lost anything, only about 10 lbs.

I coach football and last summer during conditioning we had three kids get this surgery. Not from juicing but from teenage hormonal problems. Anyway all three of them missed around three days. When they came back they were able to do only light jogging for about a week then they resumed full sprints and lifting after that. Hope this helps bro.

I waited 6 weeks before working out. I know it might seem like forever but do it. Otherwise you have a greater chance of scaring. I tried to workout 3 week out of it and began to bleed in the gym and swelled up to a "double D". Just wait. It will be well worth it.

I had the surgery on my left side less than a year ago and my doc said to wait at least 4 weeks and then start light and go up from there. Thats what I did and had no problems..........."B"

let me tell you, this surgery sucks!!! give yourself a good week to return to work, four weeks before the gym. i had only my right side done, that was bad enough. also, it has been two years now since the surgery and still have scar tissue dissipating. definitely not a quick & easy process. some other advice, you cannot eat before surgery, and only crackers after. they gave me very strong pain killers that don't necessarily go well with empty stomachs. i vomited repeatedly so i had to drop the painkillers. ask the doctor to prescribe something a little weaker, that you can double up on if need be, and maybe prevent what happened to me. it is no fun vomiting a couple hours after surgery.
