Anyone else have this problem. When I measure my food out i always check it like 5 or 6 time to make sure it is accurate. When i scoop my protein i always make sure it is two full level scoops. I always weigh my chicken a couple times to make sure it is what i want it to weigh. Anything I measure I check it and check again to make sure it is accurate. I feel like a freak and i drives me fucking crazy.

that happened to me awhile back with light switches. I would keep coming back to the room to make sure it was all the way off. I just said fuck it, and got over it, but I know what u mean, it fucks with your mind.

Not for nothing but I had something like that happen when I read stuff, usually books, I had to keep checking the page # everytime like 3 or 4 times to make sure that i wasn't skipping a page, it was annoying as hell, so I said fuck it and stopped reading books.

Been there done that. It runs in my family. I have to tap my eye teeth together or I used to have to blink my eyes a bunch. I have to touch every button on my car radio before I can go back to listen to the song I like. When I was a kid I had big problems. Couldn't pay attention in school cause I had recurring thoughts in my head that I couldn't quit thinking about. (no not killing anyone). I had bad twitches that I had to keep doing. I got professional help and went on medication. Now that I am older I know that it is a problem and I can deal with it without medication. Try to do things just once and then force yourself to relax for a minute and not do it again. This works well for me. If it becomes something that inhibits your daily activities then you might want to get help. They do have medication for these things and it can help. My cousin is on some and it has worked wonders for her. Good luck...I know you will need it.

I sometimes am obsesive about checking if the door is locked when leaving or the lock is locked at the gym or the alarm clock is set at correct time.

But about weighing food never more than once. Everyone is so annoyed that I measure my food to start with.

I was given some medication called Anafranil
for my OCD.But I experienced too many side effects,so my doctor put me on prozac.Which
helps with mild OCD.Anafranil is specifically
for OCD,talk to your doctor.

I'm always keeping a running count of my calories/protein, always looking in the mirror to see if I'm getting any bigger, I weigh myself a least 10 times a day. I been juicin' but that just makes it worse.

I like that Bigbald, 3 posts! Yep I sympathize with everyone. YOu get these stupid little habits that just annoy you all the time. When I was younger I had some pretty strange ones, but nothing ever serious. Now it doesnt happen much anymore. Try this. Instead of giving in, stop, realize what you are doing, and just Make yourself quit what you are doing. Eventually the problem will usually just go away.

Usually after i take a crap, i check to see if i wiped my ass about 3 or 4 times... then i usually end up running back to the washroom, pulling down my pants, to check if i did it again... this continues for about and hour or so. It really pissed me off so i decided that i would sew my ass shut.
