alright bros, i did the research but still didn't get the answer i was looking for... i did my 7th shot of EQ at 3cc this morning...there hasn't beeb any problems till this morning...i did the usual, stuck my self, no pain, cool breeze of EQ...but when i pulled the needle out of my quad...fuckin blood squirted like old faithful on Halo...i'm assuming i hit a vein but what i want to know is if the EQ went to waste and shoot again later or did it go thru the bloodstream?i was afraid that i wasted 3cc when the blood squirted....bros, help me out....it was gross as hell but it was pretty cool seeing that shit erupt....thnx in advance IP: Logged |

how much blood shot out? I doubt you lost enough to comprimise your injection. You say it shot out like a stream huh? What probobly happened is the needle went completely through a vein and when you removed the needle the blood shot out. This happens to me sometimes, never shoots out like you described though. i wasn't bleeding profusely but it was a good amount...as soon as i pulled that needle, damn..it was like the blood couldn't wait to come out. i just don't know if the EQ was there too...it didn't hurt though, is that normal? IP: Logged |

When the needle goes in, it can hit a vein anywhere through its path. But the juice you release from the tip of the needle where it's deepest into the muscle. So, I'd suppose, the only way for the juice to be pushed out by the blood would be to puncture a vein with the very tip, and that wouldn't be a big possibility. If you puncture a vein somewhere along the path but before you release the juice, I think all the blood squirting out would be straight from the vein without carrying any of the EQ. So, I think your dose is OK. Hope that made sense, and lets wait for more comments, these are just my assumptions. IP: Logged |

I've done that a few times, you just passed through a vien. As long as you pulled back the plunger ( aspirated ) before you shot then everything is o.k. If you didn't aspirate than you might have got it into the muscle. I have only hit a vien twice aspirated and blood entered the syringe. I have had blood shoot out a six inch arch several times. This happened to me once before.I was pinning myself in the shoulder, and when i went to pull the pin out "HOLYSHIT" blood starting shooting out.Scared the shit out of me.All i did was put pressure and it stopped. Tony IP: Logged |

I've had that happen before...I know some guys that have it happen everytime. If I were you I would have my finger or thumb ready to put pressure on it immediately after the needle comes out. The pressure will stop it and you won't risk loseing gear. ------------------ IP: Logged |
