Alright boys got a question for ya; I heard that if you smoke (I do) and want to quite that you can mix 1 tablespoon of Creme de tartar into 12oz of orange juice right before bed and it will help purge up to 85% of the nicotine out of your system overnite. I know about the patch and i'm going on it sone, but I was just wondering about this. Plates IP: Logged |

I'm not a smoker but I will try to give you some encouragement to quit......You will never reach greatness if you continue to smoke. It's a shit ass nasty habit. You probably won't get many replies to this topic. Strength training/bodybuilding and smoking do not go hand and hand. I'm outta here......... IP: Logged |

I always defend my juicing by saying its safer than smoking. But most smokers just suffer from shortness of breath if they try to run real hard. On gear I have acne, a weaker immune system, shortness of breath that causes me to lay on the floor after a heavy set, High blood pressure, trouble sleeping, I am getting fucking stupider everyday so it is definately doing something to my brain, I have slight gyno, enlarged gut, water gain, I am more easily irritated, I am committing a felony every time I buy gear, and I am sure that hairloss is just around the corner...Why do I do all this? BECAUSE THE MUSCLES ARE ALWAYS WORTH IT. Out, ------------------ IP: Logged |

dude, none of that bullshit plicebo pills work. if your going to quite you have to want to, nothing can help you but yourself, i chewed for 4 or 5 years, and i quite for 6 months one time to win a $100 bet......if you really want to, just do it and stick with it IP: Logged |

I used the patch to quit once. That lasted for almost 2 yrs. But I did start dipping in 6 months. 3 months ago I tried the nicorette gum and that has worked wel for me. I quit dipping and smoking. The most important this is will power. A craving only lasts a few min. Good Luck ------------------ IP: Logged |

all you guys who say you see smokers out of breath (yes this topic was beaten to death a while ago) are full of shit. i smoke a pack a day for the last five years and have been smoking for twelve. granted its an awful habit and no-one should begin in the first place , but to say it hinders everyones performance is just talking through your ass. ive never had to catch my breath. EVER. some buddies who smoke a pack a day also are firemen and have a very physically demanding job. they perform it to a tee. they are in the top of thier class every year at the physical assesment and will continue to smoke. brett hull smokes two packs a day dont jump to conclusions bros , you just end up looking like a jackass.lets put this topic to bed. Yeah, 6 of my family members also had no signs of problems and defended smoking and its effects till one day there immune system couldn't hold it off anymore and then they saw the damage they were doing all those years. Needless to say they never really got a good chance to prove their point...they all died younger than they should have. We have a guy in the hospital rehab center here in my town that has lung cancer at 26. Wake up guys...your time is coming. IP: Logged |

to me smoking, drinking etc , these things are lifes extra pleasures! and even though there unhealthy, they shouldent be looked at as so ugly! and such a turnoff...they are just extra pleasures for the senses, and the truth is that those who dont smoke and think there avoiding such a health risk, because there gonna live to be 100! well when you get hit by a bus (god forbid) tomorrow, youll be the one who really if you think about it < missed out on one of lifes pleasures! i guess what im trying to say is id rather experience all lifes pleasures good or bad, now while im here, than die tragicly tomorrow and not have tried em! thats the way i look at all my little vices! ------------------ IP: Logged |
