When I eat, I mean really eat to get big, during those weeks of bulking I don't want to do shit. My workouts are great, but the rest of the time I'm sluggish and lazy. Personally, I don't look forward to bulking up just for that reason. Anybody have the same problem? Suggestions? IP: Logged |

When bulking, the only good times for me are had in the gym. Anywhere else I feel like shit because I know it looks cool with clothes on, but without them I look like crap. Swollen and bloated is only cool when you're moving big weights as far as I'm concerned. IP: Logged |

I feel like a slob quite honestly. Bloated and lazy until I get to the gym. By the end of a bulking cycle I hate food. IP: Logged |

Yes that is a bulking cycle for you. You're not doing any cardio so a lot of toxins build up in your system that would otherwise be sweat out.....also you are in shitty cardio condition so even walking will tire you out to a degree.... Matt IP: Logged |

I feel the same way. Sluggish and beat to hell. Lately I have been using Ref-B to help me out. About 4cc/day. How's your sleep been? get big or get out IP: Logged |

OK I'm the freak. I feel like a god. Sucking down 5500-7500 calories. Waking up full and having to do it again. I feel fat as hell but its all good. Maybe I'm too happy to notice I can't breathe IP: Logged |

Oh your definitely not alone. My training partners and I have discussed this before and all agree we feel so much better leaned up. I admit its good to push some major weight around but the extra fluid and fat really bring me down. We all understand how your feeling.... ------------------ IP: Logged |

I thought I was the only one going thru this also. Other than for workouts, I have absolutely no energy to do anything. Walking up the stairs tires me out. Cutting the lawn is a chore because my calves get so pumped I cant walk, even the front of them. May as well forget trying any cardio because of the calf problem, I was looking forward to this cycle for so long and now I cant wait for it to be over. IP: Logged |

I love my bulk cycles, I take 1/2 cc of B-12 EOD. And I don't care what I look like without clothes because I don't go walking around naked. I love the strength, tossing plates around like there bread. I love eating all the fatty foods, mcdonalds, kentucky, potato chips, ice cream....I work 8 hours a day everyday so I don't really have time to lay around and feel sluggish, I am always busy, plus I like working everyday cuz we get a break every two hours, so I eat every two hours and that keeps me on track, the days I don't work for some reason it is so hard to eat. That also holds true for the days I don't lift. Can't wait for work to be over, so I can get to the gym, my strength is through the roof. LP ------------------ IP: Logged |

I know what you mean about the tibialis problem Yoda. I had the same problem cause of rapid weight gain and the lower legs are just overloaded. About the slugishness have you guys tried eating lower carbs. It's usually due to an insulin spike and then low blood sugar. Granted you will still feel slugish from digesting so much food all the time. [This message has been edited by DREXX (edited July 03, 2000).] IP: Logged |

I started taking Vanadyl Sulfate last time I was on a low carb diet. It helps regulate the blood sugar. Take it with high carb meals to avoid the insulin highs and lows which will cause you to feel drowsy. IP: Logged |

Powerlifting and Olympic lifting for football is why I enjoy working out so much. I HATE bodybuilding. You bulk up and look like shit and feel sluggish, then you lean out and you lift like a pussy and feel like shit at the gym bcause you have no carbs, and unless you walk around 24/7 shirtless you look alot smaller...I don't get bodybuilding, but hey, to each their own. Bulking SUCKS. I start feeling like my name should be FAT BASTARD as soon as my size 32 jeans, which are usually a little loose, get a bit tight. IP: Logged |
