Hey guys i was wondering if we all stopped using roids, and continued to workout would we eventually go back to the size we were before AS? Cause i have a friend that has juiced since he was 17 and he has stopped now for about a year and he has lost serious weight!!! He was almost competition BIG!! What do you guys think? ------------------ IP: Logged |

I have been thinking about this also: If you break through your natrual limit taking AS, does that make it possible to be above your original natrual limit natrually. I bet there are more natruals in that run-on then there are on this board. ha Slopain IP: Logged |

if we all stopped using roids, then in one year from now only 25 % where still training. Jeff ------------------ IP: Logged |

Without the AS your body can not retain the size you gained, it will not process the protein at such a high rate, and then there is the water retention..Yes in time you shrink, If you havn't seen Dorian Yates in a while he looks to be about 100 lbs lighter maybe more, OH but then I forgot he is one of the "natural" ones I think.. Some guy on the AE board lives in burmingham and he saw Dorian last week. He is supposed to be about 230-240lbs but pretty lean judging by his forearms. IP: Logged |

without roids we will all shrink and 75 % of the guys will stop training, because of the shrinking. Jeff ------------------ IP: Logged |

Jeff_rys: I doubt that that many people would quit training. I trained naturally for 3-4 years and loved training. It will cause depression but quitting training will make you even smaller and fatter. If people wouldn't train without roids they shouldn't train at all. IP: Logged |

I think it's possible to keep some if not most of it depending on how you put it on and how well you train. I trained for 6 years before I started my first cycle...so I know how to train. Those who have only trained a year or two and then started will not know how to maintain such mass and will lose most of it. Then again, that's just my opinion...I could be wrong. ------------------ IP: Logged |

WHOA WHOA WAIT A MINUTE GUYS, EVERYONE HAS BEEN TALKING ABOUT KEEPING GAINS, THERE MUST HAVE BEEN 50 POSTS ON THIS BOARD IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS ABOUT KEEPING GAINS. EVERYONE ALWAYS SAYS IF YOU USE CLOMID AND KEEP TRAINING THAT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO KEEP ROUGHLY 65% OF YOUR GAIN. NOW YOU ARE ALL SAYING YOU WOULD LOOSE IT ALL? SPEAKING PERSONALLY I USUALLY KEEP AROUND 8 TO 10 POUNDS OF THE 20 OR SO I GAIN AFTER A CYCLE. AND I FOR ONE WOULD NOT QUIT LIFTING. I ONLY TAKE LIKE 1 MAYBE 2 CYCLES A YEAR. IF I COULDNT GET ANYMORE JUICE I WOULD DEFINATLY STILL TRAIN. ITS A WAY OF LIFE. IP: Logged |

I think I/we would have more passion if we came off. In my opinion, I was more focused when I was off/natural. Obviously, the gains weren't quite so dramatic but I nonetheless was more focused because I knew I has less margin for error.

Muscle doesn't just die if you keep exercising......I haven't been on a cycle for 6 months and I have kept most of my gains....I used to go on then off then back on etc, but I took a little time off - I didn't get smaller....I gained much slower but I definitely maintained..... The difficult part ios keepoing the intensity without that test in your system, but if you can do that you can keep a good deal of your gains. The Dorian example is not really relelvant to most of us. First, his dosages were MUCH higher than what most of us are doing or have done, and his diet was likely much more regimented. (Look at all the supps that Ronnie takes - not AS or GH but he stil takes like 30 pills a day, as did Dorian). Whne Dorian stopped, he stopped a hell of a lot more than just a few hundred mg of test a week. He was way more into this than most of us, so he had a lot more to lose. Matt IP: Logged |
