BigPappa Pro Bodybuilder (Total posts: 441)	posted June 30, 2000 11:12 AM I was wondering what some of your methods are for disposing of used needles. By the weeks end, my garbage has about 8 of them, since I am doing water based stuff and oil based so using a lot of syringes. I have been putting them in the trash but I hate the thought of someone or even an animal pricking themselves at a trash site somewhere. what do you guys do and what is the safest and easiest way? WCP Pro Bodybuilder (Total posts: 1189)	posted June 30, 2000 11:18 AM Put them in a hard plastic shampoo bottle (dark color to hide them) and seal it up when your done. Want2BeHuge Amateur Bodybuilder (Total posts: 54)	posted June 30, 2000 05:06 PM A buddy of mine got in deep shit because he didn't dispose of his works the right way, seems some kids go into the trash at his Apt building and pulled out about 10 used pins, well they took them home and Mom found them and called the cops, she thought there was a drug house in the building, My buddy has a script for his works so it was cool, but the cops did talk to everyone in the building. I pull the works apart, put the needle in one container and the rest of the works in another. IP: Logged

matr1x Pro Bodybuilder (Total posts: 117)	posted July 02, 2000 05:27 PM erm....sorry about this, I just put them in a sharpsafe container provided free by my local Boots pharmacy and when i've used them all I return the sharpsafe container to my local Boots pharmacy and get handed a load of new pins free - strangely enough. Remember that post about the needles on the handles of gas pumps? How fucked is that? Same goes for the trash collector that has to pick up some trash that may have fallen out during a pick-up. I just pack them into an empty protein powder can and toss them into the dumpster. No danger of anyone getting accidentally pricked.
