My upper quads are pretty damn big but Im small around my knee and I have no VMO (vastus medialis). In PT school they say I have short muscle bellies and long tendons that attatch below knee. In BB they say BS. What exercises do you all do to make your tear drop bigger? Thanks

Leg extentions are a key factor. GO FOR A BURN! Weight does'nt mean shit. Do what works for you. Deep dumbell lunges will add to the inner quad and outter thigh to complete the look. Than finish with good long static stretching.....hope this helps.

hack squats and high reps so the other muscles don't help out.

Both are right, leg extensions-toes flared out and deep hacks with the feet under you body as far as comfort will allow.

the best exersize by far for bringing out your quad sweeep is half hack squats and load the weight fi you dont beleive me just try it for a month make it your first exersize also my hack squat has a saftey bar half way down dont know how good yours is but try i gaurante results ..train hard

Poliquin recommends doing skier squats to bring out the vastus med. You squat down (to the floor if you can) then come 3/4 of the way back up then go down again and then all the way back up. That is one rep. I can't remember how many sets or reps he recommends but you might be able to find out on t-mag. I would assume you should do heavy weight, low reps and 6-8 sets. That seems to be the best pattern. You could also alternate doing this with doing lighter weight and more reps so that you could work both the slow twitch and fast twitch muscle fibers effectively.

Leg extensions really bring out my tear drop. I do 4 working sets of 8 to 10 reps with strict form.

For me squats really hit the upper quads, and leg presses and hack squats really target around the knee. Leg extensions are also good, but u will put on more size faster with a compound pressing movement.

Thanks everyone. I will try the leg ext and add hacks. I have tried the one & 3/4 squats and they hurt like hell. All my legs are mid thigh, much bigger than my waist. P.B.
