CALLING ALL PROS ON THIS BOARD (if there really are any)...

1. What is the current BB drug or drug cocktail of choice amongst the pros?

2. Do the pros ever come off...really off and not on primo or anything?

Going where few people have gone doesn't make you super-human. Every person has their own unique experiences in life and can lend that same claim to one experience or another........but we're all just human.

There are some pro's that frequent this board. Whether you would identify with names depends on how heavily submerged you are in this sport.

There are quite a few here, but I doubt they would want to "come out" in a thread like this. We also have Pro Football players, Pro Wrestlers, famous models and actors here too.

Lastly, Dan Duchaine used to post here several years back. He also posted frequently on the private board EF Select.

My buddy kicks it with some pros and fitness ladies, he has told me stories that a couple of pros dont frequent the board but get on once in a while not for advice, but to start shit...my bud would post "man so-and-so (his pro friendwho is sitting right near him) is a punk, or gay" or something then the pro would wait for the inevitable bandwagon of bashing. This pro would try to find a person who bashed him that lives near by and would call hima nd say what did you say about me? you dont know me? if Im a punk we can meet Im 20 mins away... Funny shit, weird but funny.
and you all have heard of this particuliar pro Im talking about.

It is my opinion that Sergio and Arnold will battle in the heavens for the greatest physique of all time. You are hell of lucky to have trained w/ The Myth. What was his Dbol cycle? As to the other comments from the other bros, about pros just being people. You got to look at it different. They are celebraties, they got pics in magazines, movies, some model, they are in the fast lane. So I wouldn't say they are normal Joe Shmoes.

This is another example where some people need to step back and take a more objective look. I'm not stating that the icons of bodybuilding don't deserve respect for their accomplishments. The dedication, knowledge, drive, and love of the sport displayed by these people allowed them to excel to the top of the sport. While that is worthy of great respect, it still does not constitute super-human qualities. It doesn't make a professional bodybuilder a better person than me or anyone else on this board. I show respect, but I've never been one to idolize another person. You can follow in their footsteps and achieve greatness......or you can be a trend-setter and have the potential to raise the bar another notch. There are too many passengers in this world, I like the view from the driver's seat much better.

SSMAN, this whole super-human title is not what I am going for. I appreciate the dedication, blood, sweat, and tears needed for such accomplishments. The deliniation I wish to make is simply that one in this world must look past one's failures to not only to succeed but to excel as well. In a grueling sport such as bodybuilding where a fair share of individuals can cycle and make great gains, it takes that extra something to be the best in the sport. Idealization is not what I am about. I think my posts may be giving the impression that I check this board out along with magazines of pros and lose all reality. Far from it. Ordinary people are not on covers of magazines. The public just wouldn't have it. Perhaps I should quantify the degree of professional bodybuilder I am referring to. The elite! Top 10-15 in all the familiar shows.

Jersey......you still aren't viewing this objectively. You've dug your heels in, resistant to input, and deny proclaiming the "elite" bodybuilders as super-human. Then you make a reference to them not being "ordinary" people. By your definition that makes these people extraordinary. I have respect for those who achieve their goals in all aspects of life.....not limited to bodybuilding. However I have never held any person or thing as an idol.....I've never wanted to be anyone else, be like them, or have any characterstic of another person. You make the statement "the public won't have it".....only the followers (the sheep) have even the slightest regard for what the masses want. Does this mean we should shroud the "elite" from every discipline? The guy in the office across from mine picks his ass like no person I've ever seen....should I idolize him for that? I'm part of this sport and I respect those who worked so hard to lay down the foundation, but I still hold a woman who works 2 jobs to support her kids in higher regard. We each have our own set of values.....there is no right or wrong.

The depiction of a mother of two is a measure of personal worth-not a measure of the extraordinary accomplishments of an individual. I feel the same as you when dividing the masses on judgement day, a mother of two struggling to give her kids a better life would surely get my place in line B4 someone who pumps iron 24/7 in an attempt to alter one's own physique. The fact of the matter is that there are many more mothers out there who are doing just that-working two jobs and going to school etc., than there are professional bodybuilders at the top of thier game, which by definition would make them extraordinary.
My friend in the iron game of life, I will listen and discuss, but please do not cry IGNORANCE.

Make no mistake about me "crying ignorance". I'm a very forward person and I wouldn't infer ignorance, I would come out and say it. You've veered so far from the original thread I'm not sure you know what you're talking about any more. You made the statement that these "extraordinary" people wouldn't be found on this board because they are so "elite"......not commoners as all of us have been classified to be. This is my last repsonse to this thread.......you still just don't get it
