Ok im not bald...yet, but i want to "prevent the problem before it becomes a problem." I can see that i dont have the exact hairline i had when i was in high school, and i have only been out of high school for a couple years. So i have researched all possisibilites and decided that Propecia(proscar) is the appropriate choice. Well what about this sexual side effects? Couldn't that impede your progress on or off AS? Think about it. With a lower sperm count and lower test level due to the propecia, wouldnt that hinder your gains? Has anyone ever experienced this problem? It might not correlate so im checking here first. Any info would help.

Propecia (finasteride) is said to raise test levels by 15% on average -- not lower them as you wrote. This makes sense because it blocks the conversion of test to DHT.

DHT is thought to be less anabolic than test, so propecia might actually increase gains slightly.

AS use beside the point, Minoxidal (Rogaine) does work when your hair starts looking thin. The brand name product is $$ though so go to a CVS or something and buy their generic brand at half the price.

do NOT use deca + propecia (or finasterided, proscar) because it will prevent the deca from converting to a much lower androgenic (DHN) than deca in the scalp. you may use nizoral and minoxidil.
