That's how I have trained now for years and it works great for me. Mon-Chest, Tue-Back, Wed-Delts/Abs,Thurs-Bi's/Tri's,Friday-Legs. Then I take the weekend to sleep and eat. I come back Monday rested and always stronger than the previous week. IP: Logged |

I do four days. Mon-chest/tris Tues-back/bis Wed-off Thurs-legs Fri-shoulders and then take Sat & Sun off. Also throw in abs twice a week. I feel this works best for me, rest time is when you grow. Just make sure when you're doing each body part once a week that you work it to failure. Five days is also fine, four is just my personal preference. ------------- Bossman IP: Logged |

Even when I'm on, I only train 4 days per week. Workouts are centered around squats, bench, deadlifts and arms. It just works better for me. I'm in my late 30's though... IP: Logged |

If you feel you can train harder, then go for it! Despite our similar ages, what works for me might not work for you. Just don't be afraid to back off on training a little if you feel the need. IP: Logged |
