What do you gurus believe to be the best thing to reduce High B.P.? I have found numerous substances that claim to do so such as: Captopril, Capoten, Fasinopril, Dyazide, Prinivil, and Zestril. Fasinopril(an ACE inhibitor) is not supposed to be counterproductive to a bulking cycle. Capoten has a short half-life so dosages have to be taken twice daily. According to BigMan7027, Captopril seems to be the shit! Here's the post about it:Here are the benefits of Captopril in reverse order:

10. reduces blood pressure 9. has cardioprotective effects 8. improves quality of sleep 7. inhibits angiotensin 2 formation which means it reduces aldosterone and also it prevents the Alpha-2 receptors on fat cells from being renewed so they shrink 6. reduces release of catabolic hormones 5. increases blood flow to the muscles 4. inhances insulin sensitivity 3. spares proteins 2. reduces possible fat gain while on a bulking cycle 1. increases fat mobilization

side effects are:

5. skin rash and lost of taste 4. can induce cough 3. Hyperkalemia (increased potassium levels in the blood) 2. somnolence 1. drop in blood pressure

even though these are considered side effects, some of them are welcome during steriod use (i.e. drop in blood pressure, Hyperkalemia, and somnolence)

to avoid the side effects that you don't want, just start out with the lowest dosage (25mg/day) and work your way up to 150mg/day in divided doses, also Captopril has to be taken 1 hour before a meal

Facts about me: I normally have very good b.p.(120/80) Had b.p. checked before I gave blood last week (170/80). I was in Day 13 of my first cycle(500mgSus/400mgDeca per week) when I had this high b.p. reading. Had it checked at Walmart on Day 15 (147/80). Currently have no nose bleeds or serious headaches. KNOCK ON WOOD. Just want to be cautious. thanks bros and peace

too many variables...it depends on the etiology of your high BP..once i look at that i can help you.

Bro my BP jumped when I was on juice too. It was my first cycle so I was paranoid too. I was on test and Eq though. It went down a few weeks after my cycle. I was up to about 160/85 or so. I freaked out but found this is very normal on gear. Hey you burn more calories with high BP. Just plug along and don't worry about it bro. I let it fuck with my head too much and ended my cycle a little short and now I realize I was just being dumb and ignorant. Hope this helps, Green

all your worrying is probably making your bp jump up a bit too. Just relax. if it goes up to about 190/110 then you need to re-evaluate. Anything over this you run the risk of stroke and organ damage.

If you absolutely have to take a BP med, go with Clonidine (Catapres). It lowered mine from an average of 148/99 to 120/80 almost overnight. Also, it increases the natural production of growth hormone when you sleep.
