I was confused on this matter and after posting a question on the board I got mixed answers on it. So, I did some further research and here's what I found out... Serostim does not need to be refrigerated before reconstitution with the sterile or bacteriostatic water, it is unique in this aspect of being able to resist heat. Lilly's Humatrope and Gentetech's Nutropin(which already comes mixed with the water) both need to be refrigerated before and after reconstituting. Sources for this answer were #1) the insert on a kit of Serostim from Serono, under the stability and storage section and #2) from the new Anabolic Scientific Muscle Journal in the Question and Answer section with Dave Palumbo. By the way I suppose GH will last only a day refrigerated with the Sterile water provided, but will last for like 3 weeks or more if reconstituted with Bacteriostatic Water, am I right on this? They both will last about two weeks after reconstitution. They have to list the sterile water base as only lasting one day because a small bacterial growth can start after a day. Growth hormone is used by aids patients and this bacteria, although harmless to you and I, could kill them. IP: Logged |
