   Last night, I got my sus out, and the 22gauge....scored the amp, popped the top, drew in after a damn long hassle...here's the weird shit...I put the needle by my glute to jab, tried to jab, and nothing happened...tried to push it in, nothing...all the sudden, the damn needle bent, WITH MY GEAR IN THE MOTHERFUCKER!!!!, I didn't have any other needles,so I put the top back on and hid my syringe with the sus, I'm going to get some more pins today, and replace the needle on the syringe with the sus in it...Will this still be sterile? it happened to me last year with my cyp. i guess the needle wasn't sharp enough or your ass is like leather from all the pin holes. yeah the gear is fine , to bad you missed a day though..... ------------------ IP: Logged |

The sus will be fine. Drawing up fluids will dull the needle so always use a new needle to inject. Your ass will thank you. ghans IP: Logged |

I must not have pushed in straight or something, it's never happened before last night...Might have been a gimp needle or something...Also, drwing up fluid from an amp wouldn't dull the needle would it/ i don't see how...I know the rubber stopper on a multidose vial would...Thanks. marauder out. ------------------ IP: Logged |

i dont see how either , but i know that pins are razor sharp at the point and i doubt a little rubber would affect it. when it happened to me the thing just crumpled like paper. mustve been a defect. IP: Logged |

Yeah, I've dulled the needle on an amp before. I got careless trying to get that LAST LITTLE DROP out and banged the needle off the bottom of the amp. Didn't change pins to shoot-BIG MISTAKE. It didn't "glide" in, it TORE in. Hurt like a bitch! But that still wouldn't make it bend. MU vial won't affect the pic though. I just can't figure it out, hope it never happens when I'm shooting. Shots don't bother me, but that would freak me out. IP: Logged |

im not sure, but i dont think that the rubber stobber is a dulling source for the needle. If you are hitting the bottom of the amp however, would definately dull the needle. IP: Logged |

I try keep a needle to use just for drawing stuff out of bottles,then I put a fresh needle on to make the injection.The straws,oops I mean needles, that come with the redijects are great to use as drawing needles, their so dam big that filling a syringe is quick and easy.I keep the drawing needle in a ziploc bag, and I'll use it 5 or 6 times before I throw it away and break out a new one. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Yeah i've always used seperate drawing and shooting needles, but i've never had a needle bend off my arse. Maybe you've been doing to many ass to the floor squats and your ass is pure steel. But i've had needles that i've jammed in only go in halfway, then i pull it out and ram even harder. Damn scar tissue. IP: Logged |

Yeah, always use a new needle after drawing from an amp or going through a rubber stopper. You will definitely notice a difference. A new, fresh needle should go in like butter. D. IP: Logged |

one pass through the rubber stopper is max. You would be amazed if you knew how much that stopper actually dulls the needle. One pass is ok though. If you have good sterile technique and lots of needles, use a brand new one when injecting. IP: Logged |

Well, a pass through a rubber septum has nothing to do with this, since you were drawing from an amp. This sounds kind of odd, but when your pin hits the bottom of the amp, it can cause the tip of the pin to "hook" slightly. The round part of the hook is what bounced off your ass. You can actually see this "hooking" under a microscope when it's happened. IP: Logged |
