I'm using N-large2 right now and looking for a change to something with high cal's and protein, and low sugars and fat. I'm thinking of trying Twinlab2500 gainer. Any thoughts or recommendations?

I like Myoplex plus Mass. Use it 3x daily. 800 calories in milk per shake, 60 protein and I think 100 carbs.

I've been using twinlag gainerfuel 2500. I strongly recommend it. It tastes good as hell with 1% milk, blended real good. The only thing is if you drink one shake a day, a 9.3lb bottle will last you only 9 days.

I try to use cheap generic whey, I guess a lot of them are good - I get what's on special at heavyweights.net - seems good.

The last one I bought though was in a local store. Convenient but the idiot in the store talked me into buying something that he claimed gets "better results." I know what I want and don't need a bunch of claims made about protein powder but I bought it just to shut him up.

I got home to find that it looked like pretty good stuff but contained maltodextrin and some other crap I didn't really need.

Go to proteinfactory.com and you can customize your protein, for a very good price(6$ a pound).

I went to Elite Nutrition today and saw a whey protein by Sci-Fit, i think it is Extreme Whey Protein or something like that. the guy told me that they had put up a bond saying that you can test any sci-fit product and if it doesnt have what it says it has than you can get like 1000 dollars. the protein looked good and i think it was high in carbs. he recommended it to me for bulking so im gonna try it. but just a suggestion.

sci fit has a gainer and an mrp out but the sci fit whey complex and protein arent high in carbs (maybe 2-4gms). damn good though. the flavor is excellent. its sweetened with aspartame and stevia if im correct. i think they dont make a bad flavor. hehe. maybe bananna if you arent into it.

If you have a blender you can pass up this weight gainer crap. Use whole milk, peanut butter, protein powder, and bananas and you save$$ and put on the pounds too.

I really like ISS Research's Complete Gainer. The chocolate worked really well and tastes pretty good.

I agree with mightydog, I use Designer Whey or Optimum Nutrition's whey for a base and then add whatever I want to the shake. This allows for a lot of variety while packing on the pounds!
