Yo BSTRONG, I wonder when you were in Lebanon ?. I've been at the receiving end o a lot of IDF arty, air strikes, fire support, recee by fire mission etc.. Our area of operations was Irish Batt, I was stationed in Haddatha, Bra-shite, beit yahun, Atiri, Tibnine plus lots more. Don't take this as a smart ass reply, war is war, I still have respect for both sides if the Lebanese conflict. Although I'm sure glad it's over. Lots of good Irish guys died over there for those ungratefull Lebanese bastards.. Won't be able to reply as I'm heading off on a family vacation tomorrow.

Hi Jay Z: I was a 90-day wonder, graduating (Distinguished) from Officer Training School. Before that, I was working on my PhD in psychology. Because my background was also technical, I became a telecommunications officer in one of the Air Force's few tactical communications units. When I was stationed in Germany, I spent one year out of three in the field. Practically every country in Europe, parts of Africa and the Middle East. Exercises, contingencies, emergency relief, and some strange missions. Worked a lot with special operations at USEUCOM. My 110-person branch was fucking awesome! Great young people. Individually and organizationally, we won tons of awards and decorations. I also spent four years at the White House during the Reagan Administration. Of course, there was lots of travel. As a regular officer I could have served 30 years, but at the 10 year point, just before Major, I decided to work in the technology industry. Extensive travel there, too. How many countries? Geez, I don't know. I've never been to Australia or New Zealand, two places I'd really like to visit. No regrets. I met some of the best people I've ever known in the armed forces, and several senior civilian executives in Washington, DC. I learned a lot, and I will never forget that experience. Sorry for the length of this message. It's still, 10 years after leaving, an emotional subject. Dexter ------------------ Strength and Honor.
