You are not in your best shape and you start a cycle of sust/dbol/eq right off the bat and hit the gym ? If the cycle is done properly, you eat properly, and train properly, is this ok ? I'm just anxious and don't know if i want to train for a few months before starting my first cycle. Thoughts and opinions appreciated. Keep in mind, I am not a total idiot and I AM dedicated to staying with it. This isn't just some temporary thing I'm doing. remedy IP: Logged |

I HAVE JUMPED RIGHT ON A CYCLE BEFORE WHEN I HAD NOT BEEN TRAINING, IT DIDNT CAUSE ME ANY PROBLEMS, BUT I HAVE FOUND THAT IF I HAD BEEN TRAINING BEFORE HAND THAT I WOULD SEE MUCH BETTER RESULTS. IP: Logged |

Rem, I think you will be ok health-wise, unless your a really fat person w/ existing health problems, the reason you may consider waiting is b/c being that you haven't worked out in a while you will get very good results the first 4-8 months. After that then consider using AS, when you see your results decreasing. Glad to here your dedicated, so why not wait - you will make great progress anyway - stay strict, stay disciplined. If you are coming off a layoff you can naturally gain for atleast 4 weeks. Then go at it. I waited almost four years after I started training to start roids. IP: Logged |

BTW just so I don't get jumped on here for the 4-8 mos comment, that is a really a bare minimum, you should be lifting for 2-3 years before considering AS. This was a disclaimer and I totally agree with it, but I know your eagerness, so I recomended waiting but a lesser duration. Slopain IP: Logged |

Bro, you should wait and train naturally for a while. One reason is what has been said above, you will make great gains anyway. Another, and very important reason is you need to get your tendons and ligaments ready for the extra stress which will be placed on them. You see AS helps your muscles get stronger, but really does nothing to help tendons or ligaments. Your muscles will develop and get so much stronger, so quickly, and your conective tissue just can handle it or keep up. This is when injuries tend to happen. I've seen it tooooo many times. So get prepared first, you will be very happy you did in the long run. Pitbull [This message has been edited by ThePitbull (edited June 22, 2000).] IP: Logged |

True.. I see what you all are sayin. Especially pitbull regarding the tendons and ligaments not being able to handle the explosive growth. Alright, well i'm going to stick with the 3 month workout gameplan before the gear. I know I can get in great shape in 3 months. Maybe not as good as if I spent years and such, but I've been working out over the years, just not heavily and regular like i used to. Thanks, remedy IP: Logged |

I know you won't wait the way you should which is 2-3 years of lifting experience before you start. So I would at least try to get your eating and routine in order before you start. Give it a couple of months as your gains will be very good if you haven't lifted for a serious amount of time. IP: Logged |

I look at jumping right into a cycle without much training as skipping the first kiss and heading right to bed. Call me crazy, but there's something about the anticipation. IP: Logged |

Since you are eager and wont wait the 2-3 years, i agree and suggest you naturally gain for at least several months and then hit it. you gain lots since its been a while and go ahead and get your diet in effect then hit the AS and get even better. You will gain more than just goin at it. IP: Logged |

What Pitbull says makes sense to me. Injuries totally suck. And by training for a few months first, your metabolism will improve. Dexter ------------------ IP: Logged |

My suggestion, just like everyone else is saying, wait a few months before you start juicing. If you want them that bad, start buying them up now, put them to the side, train hard, eat alot and sleept alot. after a few months, then hit the juice. IP: Logged |
