Hey, anybody ever tried a big can of dinty-moore beef stew? I think its fairly healthy, especially if u are trying to bulk like me. One big can has 30g of protein, 24g fat, about 54g carbs, sat. fat 3.5g, has alot of salt at 920mg. no preservatives though! =) It's not something I eat everyday, but its a nice stack if you want some weight. Give it a try.

I've tryed 'em - just the damn salt. To much for my taste buds anymore (been cutting it out and now everything tastes more salty)

Not a very good protein-fat ratio, and the sodium is pretty high. I am feeling bloated just thinking about eating a can...

Fat in it is borderline, but probably OK (as long as the majority is monosaturated -- and as long as you aren't consuming carbs up the yin-yang). Way too many carbs. Protein is low (especially if you are only eating a half serving at a time)

Sodium probably isn't a huge issue if you drink enough water.

Stuff won't kill you, but it's not really good either. I wouldn't eat it unless you are considering it a "treat."

I ate half of it and had a protein shake for an afternoon snack. I don't think it should be too bad. Im polishing off my 1st gallon of water right now, so yes i drink alot of water. I'll drink close to another gallon before bedtime.

If you are searching for a good snack try a healthy choice french bread pizza.
330 calories 21 grams protein around 50 grams of carbs. Quick and easy.

haha.. you guys are crazy. I have to have some fat in my diet. A nice bowl of that shit is a good helping of lard for the day. =) My metabolism is really high so its not like its gonna hurt me. Whatever i have to do to keep from losing weight i'll do it. =) For me.. its more of a struggle to keep the weight I have then to put weight on.
