![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() a buddy of mine received from his MD a prescription (USA MD) for depotestosterone, with multiple refills. the form actually just says "depotestosterone, 200mg/week..." plus the months/number of refills when he walked in to his local pharmacy, they told him no more injectable testosterone was available, discontinued by manufacturer (he also received Rx for syringes, no limit on refills) when he spoke with the pharmacist, he said perhaps another pharmacy (another state?) would have some left over stock. how could he go about trying to fill his Rx ? me? nope, I have a local source but wanted to ask here since you folks would likely know how to proceed. thanks for any help IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The pharm should have contacted the doctor and told them the required product was not available. They together should have then worked out a suitable replacement. ------------------ If you enjoy it today you can always do it again tomorrow. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() they did call the Endocrinologist back-and-forth and finally told him they could give him gels or patches - but - he spends lots of time apparently outdoors (swimming, running, etc...) and he did not want this option. what about starting to call all pharmacies around town or some sort of central office where they ship these in case someone would have old stock available?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It doesn't sound right. If it was something else they would sure as hell find it or an equal replacement. What about going to a big pharmacy (Osco,CVS) as they can check their computer system to find out if any of there other locations have it. If anyplace can get it or has it, a big chain pharm will. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() try Walgreens, they have no problem gettinh it in.Or he can have his doc order it or if he has it mailed to his doc from outa country. You'd have to see the FDA guidelines for importation though before you imported- depotest outa US is ALOT cheaper. After you research it Alants pharmacy in South Africa is real good.(www.Alants.com)But you need a script. Might want to call customs too to make sure there is no delay.Manana.... IP: Logged |
