I heard the same thing so I do 5 sets of 20 of my bodyweight ass to the floor. NEVER have I been so freak'n sore. Started them about 2 weeks ago, this weeks will be my 3rd, and I 'think' I can see a difference already.

Glad to hear it Gilbyag, I have been reading
about high reps for legs and am going to try it myself. What is your bodyweight. I weigh between 205 and 210 (depending on what I eat) but I was thinking about using 225 for reps. What do you think.

This is one of those things that varies from person to person. Depends on whether you're predominantely fast twitch or slow twitch and how you have been training your legs up until now.

I work in high-rep leg workouts every now and then, I've even done up to 100 rep squat sets. But I still get the best results by squatting heavy in the 4 - 10 rep range.

The only way you can know if it works well for you is to try it. Good luck.

I think it's great, once in awhile. I'll try '100's with squats and extensions. I get a weight that is comfortable, then hit 5 sets of 20 ea., the last 5 or so of easch set shoud be hell. WOrks for me.
