I finally got a PO Box and I'm ready to order. However, I want to decrease my risk of being nabbed by the law. The box is in my real name (no fakes, cuz I don't want to be charged with mail fraud). The woman I spoke to at the post office stated I could add another name or the name of a company if it's for a business. My question is: should I add a fake name to my PO Box or should I make up a company name and have it added. She told me that it's very difficult to have mail delievered to the PO Box unless it is addressed to the name or company. Any help would be very appreciated. No that looks too much like consipiracy. But fill in the contest cards at malls and the like with fake names. Send that trash to your P.O. Box. Use five or six. Then have the gear sent to one of the names. If you get stopped you can say you don't know who it is and you are really tired of getting their junk mail. ------------------ If you enjoy it today you can always do it again tomorrow. IP: Logged |

Thanks for the idea Eramthgin. My only concern is that the lady at the post office said they might not deliver to a name other than what is listed on the box. Any ideas on that? I appreciate your input. IP: Logged |

DONT KNWO WHAT IS UP WITH YOUR POST OFFICE.. MAIL CAN BE DELIVERED TO JUST A BOX NUMBER.. I DONT EVEN HAVE A NAME ADDRESSED ON MY GEAR.. IF I GET CAUGHT I SAY DONT KNOW MAYBE THEIR BOX IS ALMOST THE NAME NUMBER AS MINE. BUT THE JUNK MAIL IDEA WAS A GREAT ONE IP: Logged |

We get two or three hundred pieces of mail each day delivered to our P.P. box and about 40% have the correct name of the person or the company name correct......you should not have a lot of problems with it.....and i like the junk mail idea.....good luck... and by the correct name of the company or person I mean they can be unrelated and we still get it if to our address We might be ABS Wholesale and get Pizza Hut if addy is ours..... Thanks for all the input guys. I'm gonna try a mailing of my own. I'm gonna address a pckg. to my PO Box with no name on the pckg. just the box number. See if it goes through. I'm gonna use the junk mail idea too. If anyone else as ideas, let me know. IP: Logged |
