Most people don't know that steroids have been around bodybuilding since the sport started. In fact testosterone was around since the early 40's. It was created by the SS of Germany. Hitlers scientists were the first to synthetically reproduce testosterone. After the Germans kicked the US's ass in the olympics, the Americans team physician at the time, Dr. John Ziegler of Olney, Maryland was able to consult with the Germans and learned how they were manufacturing the drug. In 1956 Dr. Ziegler, in an attempt to improve American athletes, took testosterone a step farther and created Dianabol in his Maryland Lab being funded by Ciba. This was what started the steroid epidemic. Dr. Zeagler took his drug to the York Barbell Club in Pensylvania. That's right, Grimmek, Reeves, and all the greats were juicing! A lot of people don't believe that, especially since they made it into their senior years like anyone else their age. Out living most. Than came the sixties and every other steroid...deca, winstrol......The funny thing about all this is the doctors during this time. There is no evidence to date showing that steroids decrease life span. All the statistics show that it actually increases when used properly. Many cridicts will try to use people like Mohammed Benaziza, Andreas Munzter, Lyle Alzado, Dan Duchaine......as examples of people who have died from AS abuse. This is totally wrong. Mohammed Benaziza died from a combination of two diuretics. Not to mention he drank no fluids during this time either. Andreas Muntzer died from blood filled sists that ruptured due to pre existing health problems, and the drug Cytadren. This drug kept his sists bleeding once they burst, and without immediate medical attention, he bled to death. Lyle died from the old growth hormone (GRORM) which caused his brain tumor. At least that is what he said...Aids is also rumored, and finally Dan Duchaine died from pre-existing health problems he admitted to years ago. His kidneys were not in good shape. Any other person who has died already had pre-existing health conditions prior to use, or was taking high C-17 alk roids for no less than four years streight without any off cycles. Furthermore, they recently released studies showing that when measuring liver enzymes for damage back in the 70's, the doctors found that the elevated enzymes were due to the fact that muscles when worked produce the same enzymes. Therefore concluding there was no liver damage what so ever. This is why all the subjects tested are still healthy today. Facts are facts. When you look at statistics you can clearly see that most bodybuilders and athletes will outlive the average person. Just because someone gets cancer or heart disease is not a reason to say steroids caused it. More people will get cancer and heart problems who have never use AS before. All the health problems that the media tries to single out are unproven and have no proof to stand on. In fact the statistics point the other way. Think of how many people have used AS now, and their is not an epidemic of cancer and health problems flowing through these people. Statistics clearly show that if a person uses them correctly, the results seem to be life extending. This is why the US needs to understand before passing laws. It clearly shows the hearsay the US follows. Androstenedione is harder on the liver thean most prescribed steroids. Yet BS and money keeps it legal. Finally, Arnold....he knew his heart problem was there long before bodybuilding. His mother had the same problem......he recently sued and won against a doctor who slandered him saying AS caused his heart problems....just thought I'd throw that in there. IP: Logged |

great info and appreciate the time put into typing it, now if we could only convice the politicians into legalizing AAS, everytime I hear op people getting kiled by drunk drivers or people dying from second hand smoke or the 450 people that die every year due to asprine, I get pissed off , and always ask why so much over AAS... I thought your spelling was fine, and enjoyed the read. Hell yes anabolics are life extending - I don't look like anybody else my age. And all these menopausal women on hormones legally out live us men by what, 8-10 years now? IP: Logged |

1st grade info, hope in the future, people will look at this time as the new prohibition. Distribution should go back to the doctors, and hopefully scamming counterfeiters will be put out of business, I can dream. Maybe one day they will have Flintstone d-bols for all our children, heheheheh. IP: Logged |
