Ive been on this board for about 8 months now, so I feel comfortable enough to let all my bro's in on my story. About 5 years ago I was diagnosed with CFIDS (chronic fatigue immune dysfunction syndrome). At that time I was an avid bodybuilder and took my body from 150 lbs to 230 lbs(thanks to a shit load of chemicals) and I was a black belt in Tang Soo Do. I became ill and did nothing for a long time. I have tried every medication known to man trying to get better. I also read alot about steroids and AIDS (Micheal Mooney is a genius). I took all this info to my doc and told him if steroids helped AIDS patients feel better then it might make me feel better. He prescribed me depotest by Upjohn at 400mg/week. It has made a tremendous difference. Once I became ill I shrank back down to 170 lbs. Now I am back to 220 lbs. Cyp isnt the only thing I use. I have kept journals of my trials and tribulations and one day I will write a book on steroids and CFIDS. They have brought me back from the depths of hell and doctors evrywhere are learning about the benefits of these powerful medications. No Flames please. They dont know what causes CFIDS. They believe its from a viral infection like the flu. It somehow, they think, triggers your immune system to stay on all the time like your fighting off something. Imagine being very tired because the flu is KICKING your ass, well thats what we feel like 95% of the time. The way the AIDS actvist are going I think steroids will one day be legal again. Its like the old clique, guns dont kill...people do. Well steroids dont kill either its the abuse thats getting the negative attention. Thanks for listening. IP: Logged |

Great post Pillboy!! There are many conditions / diseases that could potentially benefit from AS, but a lot of healthcare providers are afraid of prescribing them because of all the negative attention (sorta like marijuana). I think more documented cases like this will help a lot of people who truly need AS, and for those who use them intelligently. I honestly feel like if there were not as many restrictions on AS there would be no need for black market and fake stuff, which can account for a lot of the illnesses and deaths often attributed to AS. There is no test to see if you have it. They test you for every illness known to man. I spent 8 hours with my doc before he gave me the diagnosis. There are many illnesses that could benefit. It was rumored that Montell Williams was trying them to stop muscle waisting from MS. Alot of sick people who use get it from the black market. They would get better results if they had legit shit. that is an extremely difficult diagnosis. You must of had many many different blood tests done and many more to come. How long has it been since the "diagnosis"? IP: Logged |

sorry, i see it has been 5 years. Do you get regular CBC's. If so, i would be interested in your counts. Other than fatigue have you noticed any other abnormal things? IP: Logged |

Every 6 mo I get re-checked and yes my CBC is perfect. My doc says he wishes something abnormal would show so we can treat it. I look and test normal. You could not tell who I was in a room of BB's. IP: Logged |
