![]() ![]() ![]() i was reading some great links in the powerlifting room about some conjugated training methods of a Louie Simmons and Dave Tate I believe. They mentioned doing 8 sets of 2 rep box squats. They described it but there wre no pics. Anyone know where there are any pics on the internet showing how to do box squats? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I am a huge supporter of Louie Simmons. His training is founded on science, mostly the Russian's. Go to deepsquatter.com, then stregth online, then archives, then louie simmons. Order his videos also. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Box squats are simple. All hey are is squatting with a box behind you that you sit down on and then come back up. The box is made to be a little higher than parallel, (about 22 inches) so that you can handle more weight than reguular squats, and explode up. It builds explosion. Later IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks guys. I really do appreciate the help. I may have read it wrong but I believe at the site they mentioned using boxes of various heights - some as low as 10 inches. They mentioned some guy who can squat 1,010 LBS and can do 10 inch box squats with around 800 LBS. That is unbelievable. IP: Logged |
