I don't know why but when I first started using insulin 2 weeks ago shots into my stomach didn't hurt at all. Now the needle hurts when it goes in so I am looking for an alternative place to shoot. Since the buttocks has the most fat it makes sense to me that you should be able to shoot there. Is this right? IP: Logged |

You can shoot it anywhere. Just pull some skin up and shoot. Anyplace theres a little skin to pull up you can go. I like sides, hips, sometimes I can pinch up some skin on my quads near the top and shoot there... IP: Logged |

Why is it hurting you? The gauge 29-30 is so small I can't even feel it go in 98% of the time .Maybe you should get some diffrent needles? IP: Logged |
