I thought everything was going smooth...no blod in the syringe etc...then having pulled out there was a large spurt of blood!!....does that mean i just injected through a vein and not into it????....and does it mean i have to re-inject or can i just assume that most of the juice went into the muscle???

HAHA!! Welcome to the club!!
Nah, you didnt hit a vein, you passed THROUGH one, injected and when you pulled out youdragged back through it. Done it myself a couple times, mostly on my quads.

Gave my girl a shot once in the thigh and had about a six inch long stream when I removed the needle. I told her "whats that on TV" then put direct preasure on it to stop the bleeding. I know if she would have seen it she would have freaked.
