Hopefully I will not earn Animal's ire by posting this, but the speculations regarding the solutions composition should be put to rest (I mean, even Bill Roberts, whom I otherwise respect, said some remarkably stupid things regarding this procedure on T-Mag.) The "magic disolving solution" consists of: polyethylene glycol (PEG) 60%, propylene glycol (PPG) 30%, and benzyl alcohol (BA) 10% This is a fairly common organic solvent solution used by pharmaceutical companies for both oral and IM formulation and administration. And while I absolutely respect anyone's decision regarding appropriate administration, I can't understand why someone would feel that using DMSO (thereby passing not only glue and binder through to the bloodstream, but anything else your hand or target area happen to be contaminated with) is safer than a sterile solution passed through a .45 micron filter. Actually, the information comes from Animal (though indirectly). I just feel that no good is being served by keeping this a secret. And quite frankly, Animal is still far and away the best source for Kits. They (the Kits) are very reasonably priced and with the "FINA 2000" instructions from Renegade, nearly foolproof. You could source all the individual components but it'd be a monster pain in the ass as virtually all of it is sold in quantity. Is life worth living? It depends on the liver. IP: Logged |
