![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() YES IT DOES. a friend of mine regularly has gear sent to his house as "to current resident! If the address isnt postcode watched then its not a problem! and for those that still dont know what postcode watched is, it is a machine at customs which has the postcodes of packages read to it, does this itself. if the address has ever had a parcel seized addressed to it then it becomes postcode watched! each time a package is sent to the address, it goes via the machine which reads and identifys the parcel as being postcode watched! it is then put into a suspect package tray for inspection! there a team will go through the packages, not by opening them but by inserting small camera probes into them. they watch the progress and then if they are not satisfied with the contents the package is opened! then the rest you know. im not saying that everyone will always repeatedly get parcels seized that go to that address because the parcel has got to look suspicious for customs to pick on it in the first place! so yes current resident gets there, but it could (but unlikely) recieve more attention than a named person! ------------------ IP: Logged |
